*Starts moving in to the store asking if hes inside - starts hearing gunshots*

"I'm going away!!"

*Runs over to other set of doors of the store*

I guess I can say he has balls, though it's a toss-up between that and stupidity.

Anyhow, must be the legalized weed there in CO.

And the fact that boulder is about 98% rich white people. Especially that side of town. I lived about 2 miles away for a while, now about 15 miles away.

Anyhow. There are not many of the people you all jump to blame around here, even less as you get closer to boulder. I have also not seen more than 2 people without masks even in longmont, which is about half as "liberal" as boulder. For lack of a better term. Just some observations from a local.

There was a fight in the whole foods in longmont a week ago. And one person rated the car of the other. People are restless, easly amped up around here. I see it they way people drive, handle minor disputes, etc. Not really sure on the why, could be more about class than anything else. Longmont is a good bit more diverse and conservative vs boulder.

Is it easy to buy guns in Colorado?
We have universal background checks and a ban on mags over 10 rounds. Boulder has an assault weapons ban that is currently working its way through the courts, but no stay on enforsment that I know of.

Any crazed person can get their hands on a weapon it seems. At least you guys have background checks.

Boulder is such a cultural bubble. It's really something that is outside of the real world. Everything in Boulder is first world problems to the rest of the population. We could not stand it, left.

Everywhere has background checks if you buy retail. Fyi. Universal just means private sales are also checked, if you are honest. Difficult at best to enforce.

Also, you are correct, no matter what anyone does or regulation someone comes up with, the population will have access.

I'm a 2a supporter, but also fine with a robust background check system, as long as there is due process if you get on some list, and there is not a "registry" of serial numbers and models and names/addresses.

The Official Republican Party position...

"The only reason for concern if the shooter is black or associated with BLM."

The fact this incident occurred in a building which mostly had money related services and businesses, make me have a feeling that this might have not been racially motivated, but probably an armed robbery.

If it was a Robbery, why the dead bodies outside, in the road, and the walkway going into the building before entering? During robberies, shooting starts inside during the robbery, not outside ahead of the robbery. Doesn't feel like a robbery when you think about where and when the shootings started.

Yup.

This is more than a robbery gone bad.

We'll hear all about "mental health" and there will be furrowed brows but nothing will change.

This guy killed 10 people and definitely resisted arrest and they took him alive. Also the this guy killed a cop. Just to put it in perspective, the suspect

wasn't accused of passing a counterfeit $20
wasn't selling untaxed cigarettes on the street
wasn't playing with a toy gun
wasn't talking on the phone while holding an air rifle he was going to purchase
wasn't walking home and was dressed not to other people's liking

Anyone recognize this list???

Hopefully they got the suspect something to eat on the way to the station.

Boulder is the reason I'll never be too far left. Fun and pretty town, but drove me nuts too. Moved to Broomfield sr year and didn't look back.

Report is 10 dead. Another meaningless loss of life with countless other lives forever changed. This country is a lost cause. The society is increasingly toxic and corrosive which creates monsters that have easy access to lethal weapons.

Not sure what you are referring to? Black people, MAGA types, incels, poor people, criminals?

I'm waiting for more details.

Doesn't that make you want to join parler and troll the shit out of these people.

i've cleansed my FB feed from mostly anything political that raises my blood pressure. My Reddit feed is pretty much non-political as well. Twitter is where I get my political takes from, and AT P&N, that's enough awareness of the douchebaggery and utter deplorableness that is Trumper politics these days. Joining Parler for me would just be self-destructive. I can only take these deplorables in smaller doses.
