I assumed "bang bang" was Bullseye. I also linked that skull to Bullseye, as I never really recall Punisher being in DD's world so much, but it was a very long time ago that I read that stuff, and I barely read Punisher or DD (a bit more familiarity with DD, though). That is Punisher's logo, though. But, that is Punisher's logo, and Bullseye always had the hilarious target on his head...which is just stupid.

Daredevil and Punisher have crossed paths a few times...

I'd go so far as to say the Punisher was really defined by the Daredevil comics. Frank Miller really did some interesting stuff with him that took the Punisher from the Spider-Man villain to what he is today.

Looking forward to binge day!

Daredevil is one of the best shows on TV. Or rather, not on TV.

I really liked the references. Daredevil taking half measures and being one bad day way from being someone. >_>

I really liked that line about the bad day, even if it was jacked from "The Killing Joke" where the Joker tried to prove anyone would be him if they had just one really bad day.

The last couple of trailers looked good. I hope it ends up that way, because the first season was very mediocre. But it has potential.

I'm noticing that Netflix has a "too many episodes" issue with most of its seasons. All the shows that have plodded along for no real reason have been 2 or 3 episodes too long: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Bloodline to name those that first come to mind. I liked them all to some degree, but each would have been better if they stuck to 10 episodes.

Yeah, I'd agree with that. 13 episodes felt like too much. Especially for Jessica Jones. That could have easily been condensed down to 10 very intense episodes. Daredevil didn't feel as stretched, but 10 would have been a good fit and could have squeezed in a bit more action per minute.

I must be the only one who doesn't mind a lack of action from time to time.

These are character stories, after all, and it is often what occurs in the slow moments that show and/or define the character and growth.

And even with 13 episodes and some thinking it was too stretched, some characters didn't receive enough time to develop.

That's what I loved about Jessica Jones - even the smallest supporting characters received a heck of a lot of character development, and the world felt more connected for that reason. It gave weight to Jessica's indifference, made you feel that she caused characters to experience sorrow. I loved every minute of Jessica Jones, but I can understand why others would not.

And I loved every minute of Daredevil, and am absolutely stoked to watch Season 2. I can't wait to see how they develop Elektra in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and especially think Frank Castle will be a terrific foil to Daredevil's growth.

I don't disagree but there's only so many times I could deal with them capturing Killgrave only to have some bonehead decision or action give him an opportunity to escape. It was starting to get annoying. There was just a lot of drawn out events that could have been cut and kept the story and character growth intact.
