and then Titans want leinart or Young, leaving the Jets as the probable picks for bush

Jets would have to trade up to get Bush. Whoever trades with the Saints will (obviously) be going for Bush.

49ers 6+22 for the Saints 2.

Jets have a better chance of grabbing him. Believe they sit at #4? Only need to jump 2 spots, instead of niners have to jump 4.

The Saints would probably be better off taking the 6 and 22 from SF, and picking up Davis or Ferguson at 6 to help Brees, and getting a other good player at 22 - If they want a RB, Williams, Maroney and White should still all be on the board

If the Saints pick Bush, they are crazy. They already have a stud RB and a good QB. They need a stud OL. I get to watch my team each season with a crappy o-line.

Jets are the likely pick but even they do not need a running back that badly. They would really benifit more from that left tackle they wanted. Green Bay will pick a player Favre wants so they are the question. Both Tenn and Oak need qbs. Niners are also a probability but they already invested in Barlow.

As a Saints fan I am quite pleased... hehe... I think we should take Bush unless there is an offer for 2 #1s and a #2 or a #1 in 2007... just swapping two #1s for what is essentially now the 1st pick in the draft is NOT enough trade value for such a hyped 'phenom'.

Should be interesting. I hope we do pick Bush... I think the excitement would really help the team's deflated fanbase.

Bush IS NOT going to be able to strut his stuff in the pros without a dominant o-line.

Agreed. Which is why if Bush is picked the rest of the picks should go on OL to try to find a starter. And you go OL in the 1st rd next year. Bush is a guy who you gladly build a team around.
He doesn't have to come in rookie year and carry the load... Deuce is a pretty damn good back himself. Let Reggie play the 'change of pace' role in the backfield a few snaps a game and at WR also for the first few seasons while backing up Deuce and trying to build a dominant OL.

Of course I think would rather a high value trade cause the Saints have many holes that need addressing. We've all seen enough of the 'can't miss' prospects who turn into huge busts.

You can say that he's not responsible for the actions of his family, but come on, realistically, do you believe he wasn't involved in this scam?

that doesn't make him any less of a football player... besides, he just took advantage of some scammers that were trying to take advantage of him...

sure he hasn't proven himself yet, but none of them have... i just can't see how bush, who's an insane talent, should slide down to 2 or even 3.. and it's not like dominic davis is a great RB.. he's alright.. he had what... 1200 yards and under 10 td's... he's not a premire back by any means

Darn right. The Jets need a rb (well they need a lot of things).
If the Jets don't get a player with some juice in this draft I will very disappointed.

WHOA Tenn will pick him up?! That means we (Raiders) may have a choice between Leinhart and Young.
