i'm just a poor schmuck trying to figure out wtf is going on... and my taxes are going to be part of the solution, so i'm all in... it seems to be you who are all blabber about how wonderful it all is, except for all the things that aren't...

As if you aren't doing your share of "blabbing"? Grow up.

I never asked if you were "all in" and you sure as hell aren't the only person who has to pay taxes although you seem to think so?? I asked if you're part of the problem or part of the solution and you can't even give me a straight answer??

I think you're addicted to pissing and moaning, or perhaps are suffering from Obama Derangement Syndrome. Seek help or it will be a long 8 years.

In addition to the Commerce Clause there is an economic argument that goes like this:

Uninsured/Underinsured persons represent a significant cost to the overall delivery of care - compelling them to maintain a minimum standard of coverage reduces the financial burden they formally placed on the system.

This is an extreme example: The Octo-Mom.

I imagine the Fed and the State of Cal took a pretty big hit on that one.

I hear what you're saying and I totally agree with the theory of it; however, I have no confidence that the government will pull it off. If I am wrong, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Tea party protesters use racial epithet against Georgia's John Lewis

Demonstrators outside the U.S. Capitol , angry over the proposed health care bill, shouted "great person" Saturday at U.S. Rep. John Lewis , a Georgia congressman and civil rights icon who was nearly beaten to death during an Alabama march in the 1960s.

Protestors also used a slur as they confronted Rep. Barney Frank , D- Mass. , an openly gay member of Congress . A writer for Huffington Post said the crowd called Frank a "lovely human."
Frank told the Boston Globe that the incident happened as he was walking from the Longworth office building to the Rayburn office building, both a short distance from the Capitol. Frank said the crowd consisted of a couple of hundred of people and that they referred to him as 'homo.'

House Majority Whip James Clyburn, D- S.C. , said Saturday's ugliness underscored for him that the health care overhaul isn't the only motivation for many protesters.
"I heard people saying things today I've not heard since March 15th, 1960 , when I was marching to try and get off the back of the bus," Clyburn said. "This is incredible, shocking to me."
He added, "A lot of us have said for a long time that none of this is about healthcare at all. It's about extending a basic fundamental right to people who are less powerful."

Well, certainly $10,000 will bring some evidence out of the racial epithets, eh?
