Nothing that happened to this guy justifies killing Quan and her fiancee.

Have they released any evidence that it was him that killed the two? I don't doubt that he did, but at this point I would rather not take LAPD's word for it.

If someone wants a career in law enforcement getting fired for lying is one of the worst things that can happen to them. If his story is accurate there was really no way for him to clear his name and get on with his career at another department.

His story about choking another officer over the N-word means he probably wasn't cut out to be a cop anyway though.

Pretty sure phokus and spidey can do nothing but be partisan hacks.

The real story here is about a modern day Batman/Rambo fighting the corruption of the LAPD.

Arguing whether or not he is liberal or conservative is idiotic. Anything but AWB or Feinstein comes from an EDITED VERSION of his manifesto. His agenda is purely to end corruption in the LAPD and get his name back. In my book his name is already back and he's a superhero.

Most likely, it's going to be swept under the rug; especially if Dorner is killed.

At the very least, they and their department will be sued for millions once the two women get out of hospital, and hopefully, the officers will lose their badges.

Also, a third person was accidentally shot as well, a white male driving a blue pick up truck..

Jesus christ, are they just shooting up any blue truck they see?

Not much you can really add to that. It's reprehensible that there are people cheering him on - like the real life Django. And nothing that happened justifies him killing ANYONE! He's violated every oath he's taken.

I'm sympathetic to the situation he found himself in in 2008 if everything in his manifesto is true, but I agree with you none of it comes close to justifying murder. I would guess the people cheering him on are young and don't have a very good appreciation of what it means to lose a loved one.

Why shouldn't we cheer him on? Assuming he's truthful, the LAPD is corrupt and violent. He tried to change it from within by doing the right thing and suffered for it. Their violent actions the last couple days give this guy's argument some legs. Shooting up innocent people because they happen to be driving trucks? Apparently this criminal organization can't be changed by legal means, so this guy has gone the other route. It's too bad the LAPD wanted it this way.

The truck fail is unbelievable. The Titan has a very distinctive tailgate. If you mistake a Tacoma for this, something is wrong with you.

It seems like if they were on protective detail they would have pictures to reference of what a Titan looks like.

My favorite(not) part about shooting the two women in the Tacoma is they shot it while it was driving away from them. Look at all the rounds they shot through the back of the thing. Unbelievable.

Even if the trucks weren't totally different it still doesn't give them the right to just open fire without identifying the suspect first. Even then they are supposed to let him surrender.

common now...they were searching for a guy that went nuts

...you wanted that the cops smiled and said "hi" for guy that shoot innocent people?

No but I do expect them to know WHAT THE FUCK THEY ARE SHOOTING AT BEFORE THEY PULL THE TRIGGER. Doesn't seem like a lot to ask now does it?

FFS, they riddled the first truck with bullets and it had two women in it. How the hell do you mistake two women for a 6' tall black guy unless you didn't identify the occupants of the vehicle AT ALL and instead just fired blindly. We have words for people who just fire blindly at unidentified targets, they are called criminals.

Frankly, if you or I would be charged and stand trial for doing something they damn well should to. How can you claim to uphold the law when you are not subject to it yourself (other than a very few instances like where you can carry, etc)?

Police who were hunting a former LAPD cop accidentally shot a 71-year-old woman and her daughter as they delivered the LA Times, that newspaper reports.

Between Obamacare and the absolutely huge settlement they will get I'm sure they are not overly concerned about their health or finances.

If that was me they have NO IDEA how bad I would go after them though, I most definately would not settle. That is quite simply gross negligence on every level, the LEO's should be fired, new SOPs, training, etc.

Exactly the shooters should be charged with attempted murder.

Absolutely, but if it was a Titan I could believe that terror and a desire for revenge overcame their judgement. But I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around how people could be this stupid and careless.

The Ridgeline is also mystifying. It looks like they hit it from the side and the Ridgline's most distinct feature is the unique angle where the cab connects to the bed. It just isn't possible to look at a Ridgeline's profile and mistake it for anything else.

At least they got a full size truck this time. A few more tries and they might've gotten the make right.

It's ironically exactly why that guy is going crazy... They have a system that revolves around protecting each other and hiding everything they do.

They are used to losing their tempers and having nothing come from it. Most of them are completely sick with power.

LAPD better hope he doesn't steal a police cruiser. Otherwise they may do his job for him.

Have that go on for a few generations and see how out of control an organization like the LAPD can become.

Not fake. God damn you are stupid. The media put out the scrubbed version at request of police (or they didn't want the far left extreme progressive stuff left in). The long version is the full one.

I get it. Liberals are going to say he didn't write that or he's not really a far left extremist progressive. The facts are he's one of you.
