question though. wo do you really think this is going to lead to? anyone think that people are going to do some looking in and see if what he claims is right (wich i gotta admit i believe). or is this going to get swept under th erug?

Most likely, it's going to be swept under the rug; especially if Dorner is killed.

also the cops that shot up innocent people are they going to get in trouble?

At the very least, they and their department will be sued for millions once the two women get out of hospital, and hopefully, the officers will lose their badges.

Also, a third person was accidentally shot as well, a white male driving a blue pick up truck..

Sad seems like a guy who got screwed and ruined his life right into mental illness.

Maybe its football's fault:

If possible, I want my brain preserved for science/research to study the effects of severe depression on an individual's brain. Since 6/26/08 when I was relieved of duty and 1/2/09 when I was terminated I have been afflicted with severe depression. I've had two CT scans during my lifetime that are in my medical record at Kaiser Permanente. Both are from concussions resulting from playing football. The first one was in high school, 10/96. The second was in college and occurred in 10/99. Both were conducted at Kaiser Permanente hospitals in LA/Orange county. These two CT scans should give a good baseline for my brain activity before severe depression began in late 2008.

In light of the pickup with innocent women being sprayed with bullets by the LAPD I thought it instructive to post the LAPD's mission statement:

The Mission Statement of the LAPD

It is the mission of the Los Angeles Police Department to safeguard the lives and property of the people we serve, to reduce the incidence and fear of crime, and to enhance public safety while working with the diverse communities to improve their quality of life. Our mandate is to do so with honor and integrity, while at all times conducting ourselves with the highest ethical standards to maintain public confidence.

Good job, guys.

IF the guy was smart he would turn himself into the FBI or such. otherwise he is dead.

the officers won't lose a damn thing. i read that the LAPD is already makeing excuses for them. the stress of the situation and wanting to be safe lead them to act.

Read his whole "manifesto". He sounds reasonably competent, and I agree with almost everything he said. However, him talking about killing families/children of his "high value targets" is pretty fucking stupid.

I just looked at some video from LA, and the police officers were nervous looking and pointing shotguns at the (red) pickup truck slowly passing them in a very unprofessional manner. He certainly seems to have them spooked.

If I lived in Cali and owned a pickup truck that was either gray or blue I would have called in sick today.

Yeah, and if I was stocky 6ft tall Black guy I'd hide under my bed.

In fact, if I was there I'd just stay away from those cops. They appear to be a bunch of panicked idiots. And now that he's dumped the gray pickup no vehicle is safe.

I believe the FBI are already assisting the LAPD in killing him.

Lol 6' black guys and hispanic men already have to hide from the LAPD if they want to live. :whiste:

The gray pickup truck has been dumped and burned. Dogs did not get a scent off the truck, dogs are moving to a "possible" sighting location to try and get a scent.

If the man has skis or stashed a snowmobile he's long gone off that mountain but that's where the helicopters and police are searching atm. They are losing light and I believe the car was discovered around 3PM PST.

I already know there are people in the Police departments and Federal government trying to find ways to bring drones and drone kills into cases like this.

Yea good point.

When this is all over he may kill our liberty and privacy. I doubt the police and government will not take the opportunity to vastly expand their powers after this. Especially if he actually kills more people during the manhunt and manages some Rambo shit.

This seems like a load of melodrama to me. I see no reason to think that this case will have any long-lasting impact on the powers of law enforcement.

Well yea, nothing has happened yet.

If he proves to have the skills and capabilities his manifesto asserts, and is a real life Rambo for a couple of weeks before he's finally killed. I don't see how some sort of homeland drone measure gets fast-tracked in a couple of places.
