Manafort off to jail

I wonder how Manafort's first weekend in jail went... I'm only slightly younger than Manafort & I can't imagine how it would feel to realize that I'd probably never see daylight again w//o a pardon from Trump. Yowser.

The prosecutors might let him off really easy if he can give them Trump's head on a plate but he probably doesn't know enough of the story to do that.

Hell, Trump may already be toast over Michael Cohen's confiscated files. That wouldn't necessarily be about Mueller's investigation at all.
But it would be nice to fire both barrels wouldnt it?

Wonder what Trump wants to keep hidden... hmmmm what could it be what could it be..... hmmmmmm

I dont get that vibe from him at all... Is he putting things outthere unfiltered? Sure, but he doesnt claim anything else.
I find he takes legit news sources but spins what they say just enough to make them about something more than they are. Then out it goes in these long twitter threads. Then every now and then he tweets out donation links asking for money.

He seemed to get rolling as a Bernie Bro but most of his stuff was nonsense. Then Trump won.

This summarizes what I’ve seen from him nicely.

Ok, thats fair. I like how he bundles up events to paint a picture, to tell a narrative.. there is waaay too much information outthere for me to connect all the dots my self .. and maybe some of the dots dont connect at all but it still adds value to my perception and uptake of it all.
I guess, if you could say that If Maddow is Hannitys counter then Seth could be Alex Jones'es ... its facts vs. fiction just another step into the twillight zone...

Which Dear Leader thinks is "very unfair". You know, unlike what's going on with the family separations, which the Bible totally says they have to do (and that they aren't doing it and that it's all the Democrats' fault).

He is not in prison at all, he is in jail awaiting trial. All that has happened is that his bail was revoked.

He's being kept at a Virginia federal prison, a "Club Fed" from what I've found. So while he's not convicted he's in prison, or "a" prison. Whether he "goes" to prison remains to be seen, mostly because of the very real chance of pardon.

that doesnt surprise me at all. there are no luxury jails. But theres plenty of luxury prisons. of course thats where he'd go while waiting for trial.

It's not inspiring and is regimented. I wonder how many people in prison for MJ have only that to complain about.

I doubt that. Convicted prisoners & those awaiting trial are not mixed in the federal system. They have very egalitarian jails for those awaiting trial & also some high security jails as well. People are routinely shipped from prison to jail if they have further court dealings. Manafort is just a non-violent 70 year old guy who doesn't warrant high security.

And there's likely folks that would want to kill him, so he's kept out of reach.

I'm sure they do that with high value potential rats in general. It's still tight confinement, information deprivation, enforced boredom & bad food right down the line. Protective custody just isolates a prisoner even more.
