There is another possibility I have nightmares about and it that Trump had no part in and no knowledge about Russian collusion so there is nobody higher up the ladder to rat on. That would be a nothingburger I might choke on.

It's absolutely possible. Putin knows that Trump has long, long harbored a disturbing man-crush on him (Trump's well-documented public desperation to meet with Putin during the Miss Universe Moscow pageant--the weekend when the piss tapes are alleged to have happened; and going back earlier).

Putin isn't an idiot--Trump is. Putin could easily enough exploit this dolt to drag him "close enough!" to meeting with Putin/currying favor, time and time again, to get what Putin wanted, but never put them in the same room or in direct communication. Shit is just too easy for the NKVD/KGB with an utter moron like Trump as your stooge.

But then, that's not going to help Trump, either. If the fucking POTUS is a verifiable Russian agent, willing or unknowing, it makes no difference.

Trumptardia has this retarded notion in their head that "Agent" means someone with the skill of, I dunno, James Bond or something. It's a bit funny that they dismiss this about Trump because, well yeah: obviously he's no Bond. But agent means many things. One doesn't have to know they are an agent to be an agent. Please look to see the anger in your words when you use the word manure. Separating children from their parents is cruel. Your calm rationalization as to why it is being done will never prevent the traumatic experience those families and children will experience, nor remove the scars it will leave.
