Man won't move his bag off the seat on the buss

Am I missing something? Didn't the article say the foot stomp and push were NOT on the video that surfaced? I doubt a bus load of people, even canucks, would just watch someone get assaulted. Surely, someone would call this to the attention of at least the driver, if not the cops.

I'm calling shens on the lady's story.

Yeah really, it would probably lead to organ harvesting and then nuclear war if we allowed such a thing!

Yeah, because people who feel slighted don't occasionally overreact and kill the other person. Make it okay to beat them up, I'm sure they won't go retaliate by going up a level or accidentally stomp on someone's head while "just" beating the other person back up.

People tend to overstate and exaggerate stories, especially when they're trying to elicit sympathy? I am shocked.

The person who recorded the video, who is not the lady confirmed the story. Do you think multiple people are conspiring together against this man.

People watch and YOUTUBE people getting assaulted all the time and do nothing.

The guy was a total douchebag, but it wasn't exactly like someone was being assaulted. It was a freaking argument over a bus seat. You'd have to be either pretty aggro or pretty stupid to get involved.

A whole thread full of people here and tons on Youtube must be pretty "aggro" then.

Nice false dichotomy. Got any other cool demonstrations of logical fallacies? 😛

How did they get involved? Buy commenting in an anonymous Internet forum?

I doubt that more than a handful of the Internet blowhards would have done anything other than record it on their phones (while trying to do it surreptitiously so the guy wouldn't see them and actually confront them).

THATS MY FUCKING POINT YOU MORON!!!

I said a whole crapload of people did nothing!!!

GOD damn I hate forums. Nobody fucking reads anything. They just pick up keywords, assume they know what the fuck is going on, and then type whatever bullshit flies thru their heads.

I may or may not have done anything.

Drawing the line when someone rips an extra transit seat from a young woman isn't exactly a clear encroachment on my 'fight the good fight pursuit of justice and defender of the oppressed' mentality that occasionally tickles my consciousness. If it were an elderly or handicapped, it might have been extremely difficult for me to not do anything, but a young woman who got a seat 10 seconds later? meh.
