3 to 5. Yep, 3 to 5 years for assault. Actually, it could be 5 to 10 for premeditated assault since you advertised on a public forum your intent to commit assault. Actually the moderators should be watching this thread very closely as anyone who proposes to commit an unlawful act is against board policy.

So what's his next move?

A. Shave that ugly thing from his chin and burn his costume?

B. Take pride his douchbaggery, and walk proudly down the sidewalk, awaiting his beatdown?

Side Question: Has anyone linked him to an ATOT account yet?

Edit: Forget it, missed the details about this dude stomping on the lady's foot AND shoving her back.

Cops should have been called to haul this guy to jail. Beating him on the spot like many here are advocating, bad idea. You'll get yourself sent to jail.

Would be nice to have ronstang around. This guy is a nut.

The lady should have reported the incident to the bus driver.

I'm not generally a fan of violence, but I hate it that beating the shit out of him would result in jail time and the destruction of a career.

Some people just need to have their asses kicked once in a while.
The best answer is logic and reasoning. He would lose any debate in his situation. No violence is required.

Unless of course he's stupid enough to resort to it himself when he gets his ass handed to him in said debate. Then, all is fair game. As long as it's in self-defense.

Come on over, the water pipes here have some serious pressure...I have an awesome nozzle for the hose...we can wash that sand right out of your vagina.

I'm in Texas. After stomping on a woman's foot and being an asshole I would not be too worried. I'd make bail in 30 minutes if I ever made it to jail and I'd get off with a slap on my wrist. I'm the guy who steps in and confronts cowards who treat women bad, I don't care how big they are. Any man who treats a woman that way is a pussy and deserves a public beat down whether it be physical or emotional. Plus i'd probably fake a trip and bash his face with my elbo and claim it an accident....hoping he'd swing at me ;)

He stomped on the woman's foot. I'd consider that escalation to violence.

Exactly, once a man handles a woman whether it be pushing, slapping etc. I'm not wired to sit and watch and there's not likely a jury in Texas that would do anything to me but applaud.

I'm no lawyer, but in that case, the woman should kick him back. I'm not sure how things come into play when another party comes in to do her job for her. She wasn't incapable of kicking the guy back ("self-defense" in this case). The law doesn't give a fuck about standup guys doing the "right thing" when a woman is being treated unfairly. All the law cares about is the law, and it has nothing to do with right vs. wrong or true justice.

He stomped on the woman's foot. I'd consider than escalation to violence.
Then just charge his dumb ass with assault. You have a tonne of witnesses who, despite their totally pussy attitude, will probably vouch for you and the woman. Let alone there's footage to prove it.

I get what you're saying, but I just don't see how clobbering the guy would help. At most, I'd pick him up by the collar and demand he apologize. But then if he refuses, what are you going to do? Escalate it? I just don't understand what you'd do.

EDIT: Lets say I lived in this magical land where justice existed, and the law actually made sense and adapted to situations. We'll call this magical land "Texas". Then yes, I'd grab him by the collar and just push him into the fucking wall, and ask that his dumb ass apologize and learn to manner-the-fuck-up on a public transit system.

I just don't think that would work out though, not in Toronto. And I lived there until very recently.

Hopefully someone in his city sees this and introduces this lame leprechaun's face to the business end of a shillelagh.

I wouldn't kick his ass, but the only reason I wouldn't is the law. I would like to live in a society where I *could* kick his ass without legal repercussions. Unfortunately if I did lay a hand on him in most places in North America, I'd go to jail and lose my job.

Clobbering him would help in that hopefully he'd realize he was being an ass and change his ways. If not, knowing that there were people out there willing to punish him for stomping a woman's foot might make him reconsider next time, even if he thought he were justified.

Then we are agreeing.

If it's okay to escalate from a stomp + shove + doucheyness to a full ass kicking, someone might think it'd be okay to go from ass kicking to straight murder -- to defend his honor? Guess it could be settled with a duel at dawn.

Potential trolling?

Just saw a comment on a news site about the guy's very visible outfit and the lady's also somewhat standout (red) attire.

The video also seems to be from a very good angle for the situation.

Sadly as much as people like to claim they will be the knight's in shining armor on-line, in reality very few ever react.

In my own posts of reacting, I was chastised for not minding my own business here.

So apparently as long as it's all talk, it's all good.

Probably true, but I'm stupid at times and I do react to crap like this even if I shouldn't. Luckily I'm smart enough to not just start punching....but if that is what the idiot wants I'm stupid enough to give it to him....and this coming from someone who doesn't think fighting has any purpose. These types of circumstances are different. Hurt a child or a woman and all bets are off.

Yeah whatever, I actually get in trouble for doing borderline "you're being a dick" things in RL, a lot.

Occasionally bigger than I should have, below going to jail level.

Must be that latent Former Marine thing in me.

Yeah really, it would probably lead to organ harvesting and then nuclear war if we allowed such a thing!

Good thing it was Toronto. In New York that would have got him beat.

I love that everyone has a phone on their camera these days. We can keep a record of all the shits running around loose.
Hopefully it will follow the guy until he tries for his next job interview.
