if manipulating f*cked up people was wrong u'd have to ban religion

That doesnt make any sense. If anything, if these people were atheists, studying the Bible might have been the hobby they needed to pull them out of their depression. Or maybe attending a church and trying to get counseling of some sort could have helped.

We will never know now thanks to the man that coached them to kill themselves. 🙁

While I think what this man did was disgusting and evil, I dont think he broke any laws. He would probably claim a first amendment right to express his ideas.

I wonder what law they will prosecute him on?
What exactly would be the crime?

NH RSA 630:4
Causing or Aiding Suicide. ?
I. A person is guilty of causing or aiding suicide if he purposely aids or solicits another to commit suicide.
II. Causing or aiding suicide is a class B felony if the actor's conduct causes such suicide or an attempted suicide. Otherwise it is a misdemeanor.

I can't believe that person is hired as a journalist (global mail). The grammatical errors are horrible! (half his paragraphs are long run on sentences)

From the TheStar.com article:

Melchert-Dinkel moved to the street with his wife, an operating room nurse at the local hospital, and their two little girls in the early 1990s. The girls are now teenagers. Nice kids. No wild parties, neighbours say.

They attend church regularly, keep a tidy yard and have a dog named Lucy.

These victims got help from a church-going citizen. Thank you lord.

Jeeze guys, it's just amazing how you all never get tired of religion trolls, despite it all being the same stuff ad nauseum. I mean is really it too much to ask for at least some creativity from trolls?

Maybe they're upset that they make up a small minority of people in the world? Seeing how most human beings are religious, not being religious can't be easy. You definitely wouldn't fit in and that has to make one feel out of place. The trolling is understandable, sad but understandable.

If only they would've hung around a bit longer, they may have found the help that they needed.

Was that horrible pun intentional? It did make me snicker.

And thats all we can do, offer help. Maybe speaking with a pastor or receiving some direct counseling might have been more effective. "Church going" can mean anything. But sometimes not even all that does it for some as they are lacking any more will to live, which is sad, especially if they were close to you. 🙁

The only thing keeping some people going despite financial, family, health and emotional problems IS faith. Faith in God and their prayers. Faith that will carry you for decades (and beyond), despite having nothing else.

Life isnt a bed of roses for anyone, thats for sure.
