This, there was just one woman and several cops. My bet is there was some sort of threat issued.

i have a feeling the people recording this had a personal issue with the tased individual. they may have made up a story, waited for police, and got the camera ready for the action. you can hear one of the guys say 'its about time'.... they knew something was gonna go down.

my theory anyway

could be a restraining order too. Must have been a big problem him being there since they went directly to the taser instead of trying for him to comply

May be they had already gone up and told him he'd have to leave, or face the taser. Who knows??

On a side note, some sick part of me enjoys the hell out of watching people get tased (but only if they deserve it, of course!). You can take the biggest baddest mofo in the neighborhood, and turn him into a compliant pussy with nothing more than the pull of the trigger and the sting of the darts........plus a few volts thrown in there for good!! ;)

There are so many things wrong with this I think I'll just forget all about it and fap my brains out.

We don't see what came before that tape. That many cops don't all just show up at the same time. They probably tried to get him to comply verbally first, and possibly physically, then went to the taser.

Without seeing what came before this it's hard to say whether using a taser was justified.

I have to admit it was somewhat funny watching them dump him over all stiff like that.

There has to be more to the story. A half dozen cops just don't show up at the exact same time, no less for trespassing. We need more info before you can come to any kind of conclusion one way or the other.

There had better be more. I know of no protocol that allows the use of a taser on someone without there being resistance of some kind. If they just shot him, that guy is going to be driving a mighty nice car from the winnings of his lawsuit.

Obviously the man did something more than sitting. He must have provoked and then sat.

Even the guy taking video said "About time!"....

"The man on the porch was advised ahead of time that he would be tased. Finally, we got what we saw on the video. Immediately after the tasing, the man was transferred to the hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. The police then transferred him to a mental institution. The entire incident lasted 17 minutes."

good to see they exhausted themselves trying to resolve this issue before tasing a guy sitting peacefully (at the time)

of course the cops could be lying about the other 15 min. to avoid punishment.

I was thinking this was video of Waggy's neighbor, waggy and his wife filming and providing the laughter.

or if it isn't, just some neighborhood feud, the videographers likely called the cops and were just waiting to film the incident.
