I know where that dealer is cuz I work around the corner. For somenoe to steal that car wouldn't be surprising. Then again it's not everyday you see someone driving a ferrari, but I've seen plenty of expensive cars driving around Rosement/Bryn Mawr section and you wouldn't think twice cuz the area is filled with rich folks. So, the guy prob had a trailer waiting for him at some small street (a la "Gone in 60 seconds") and you wouldn't even blink twice when he drives pass you on one of the major roads.

The thing is no matter where you are driving a $500k+ sports car is not a crime, they can't stop you for that, he could have just took his time, playing it safe and got to whatever dock or truck he was heading for. Chances are he knew how long it would take for the salesman to get to a phone (I assume he didn't have a cell phone) and the time to get the story straight and a response sent out.

If you have a team that's organized illegal things are not that difficult to pull off....fortunately it's rare criminals are smart enough to keep it going.

I like this qquote :

"This took a lot of planning," said Det. Charles J. Craig, the lead investigator.

Yea detective... real rocket science. You will be an absolute genius if you solve this.
