LOL...I just heard about that on a different forum. That's even worse than the doofus salesman who flipped a $90K Porsche Cayenne on a Land Rover test drive track..... 😀

I wonder if either of them still has a job.

It's kinda hard to hide an F50

Car salesman is a freakin' moron.

Even when I test drove a brand new Saturn S series (on sale for $9,995) they took a PHOTOCOPY of my driver's license and insurance information before giving me the keys.

Yes, I like how he put the price in there, but it doesn't excuse it.

Stealing ferraris IS cool.

That's so they can run your credit. When I went car shopping recently, when they asked for my license, I showed them, but did not allow them to photocopy it. I dont want my credit score being beaten up just because they want to look.

If you didn't sign a credit app, it's illegal for them to run a credit report on you.

Making a copy of the driver's license and insurance is for THEIR protection in case you wrap the car around a phone pole while test driving.

they always do that fool.

I'm sorry, but I almost admire the thief. He must be laughing his ass off. How he stole it was pretty brilliant...but yes thieves suck, drive up prices, etc. etc. etc. etc. blah blah

Lose the hostility.

conjur is right - they won't run credit without permission. I've had several testdrives and given my license to them for all and never a credit inquiry.
