I live in NYC. I see guns kill people all the time. My neighborhood is #1 in the entire State in murders right now. All I know about guns is that people get them in hand to rob/kill other people. No one here gives a damn about human life.

So excuse me when I say I can't stand people who support guns.
You could try moving somewhere with a lower murder rate. I can't stand people who think that their neighborhood defines the entire world.

Also, I think you are misinterpreting amdhunter's statement. He is simply relating his own experiences, I don't think he actually thinks that his neighborhood defines the entire world.

i do kinda wish more people would invest in non lethal firearms like beanbag, rubber..etc when it comes to protecting your stuff. I think the point should be to stop an intruder, a bullet is just a tad over doing it. Guns have their place, but there are many instances where something like rubber bullets would do the job too.

Good idea, piss him off so he shoots you. Don't bring beanbag to gun fight.

I'm still thinking it wasn't burglary, the plan was rape. Burglars normally are multiple people and a lookout or two. What would he do with anything he got, where would he put it without being found out, etc. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes and all that.

You sir are a joke... no more needs to be said.

even real bullets does not prevent one from firing back, though a gun slinging fight is not the norm in home burglaries, perhaps you watch too many movies, but rubber bullets are pretty effective for protecting your inanimate objects.

🙄 New York has some of the toughest gun control laws in the country. If gun control laws worked, your neighborhood would be safe.

My wife works out of the house, I told her the other day that if she ever sees someone in our backyard or if someone breaks into the house while she's there to just get the fuck out of there and go to one of our neighbor's and call the cops.

Nice use of the stance of dominance.
