Damnit, my gf put her $240 cash in an envolope under her drawer where no body can see, but 2 days later, the money is gone but the envolope is still there, she's now hella pissed. This is the second time her money got stolen already, the first time is $200, I suspect her cousin did that (she lives with her in the same room.) F*ck that, though 240 is not a big amount but fcuk. My gf can't tell her parents because last time when she told them, they said my gf was careless about her money so she lost that, I said wtf, the money was there then it should be there. damn I am hella pissed off too. Man, stealing sh*t at home, give me a fcuking break!

Why does your gf keep cash at home. DOnt they have bank where you live? She should really deposit her money at a bank.

that freaking bank needs a min balance of 1000, f Bankofamer.
She live with her parents and the cousin, where the cousin shares the room with her. damnthat fcuking little b*tch, if my gf find out that's her, then she will be in trouble.

<< she should move out... why live with people you don't trust (family or otherwise)? >>

as for the bank .............my bank does not require that .......neither does 5th-3rd

so must be true for a lot of other banks .........move your legs dude instead of jus' ranting

she's only 17 tho. o well, she better put the money in my account or I open an account for her.. but the fact is that the money got stolen, I have no idea how to find out... that little b*tch just bought a new fcuking jacket

Bank of America doesnt require a 1k min balance, your girlfriend is misinformed, my minimum is $0, just open a versatell student checking account.

Next time when she gets some cash together, go to wal-mart and buy a lockbox or small safe. Also, start looking for another bank. I'm very sorry to hear about this. Keep an eye on the cousin, and see if she starts buying a lot of new stuff.

Man you guys need to devise a plan of attack. Dont let her get jacked like that. Buy an x-10 camera..lol

nah but think of something creative to catch them in the act..like next time your gf gets some bux, tell her to be like "yeah baby finally got more moolah" around all the peeps in the house. Then set up a camera or something...

Oooh oooh! better idea...tell ur gf to use a larger envelope, like one of those 5x8'' yellow ones with the metal clip. Dont clip it shut, just stick a mouse trap in there on the money, so when the person reaches in, you'll definately know about it 🙂

And if youre not home at the time, just look for the person with the bandaged up hand 🙂

dont let this thief get away with it, it's obviously the cousin since she just bought a new jacket. so i suggest you steal the jacket and some other stuff that's worth around the same amount of what was stolen from your gf(450?) and just donate it to the salvation army or something like that and teach this little bitch a lesson. if you guys just let her get away with this she will continue doing it. wonder where you live......pull crap like that in nyc and well.......hehe

this girl just needs to be taught a lesson, plain and simple. your gf's parents are just pathetic to not have done anything about this. your gf should do what i posted above and act like she doesnt know what happened, then the little thief will go to the adults and whine about her jacket, your gf can then say she has no clue about her clothes and say that she also lost 450 dollars in that room and that someone must be breaking in and taking their stuff(maybe a ghost?). hopefully the stupid parents will get a clue after this and have a talk with the little thief. the little thief will of course know it was your gf, but now she knows that your gf means business and that she wont continue to take her bs(guessing your gf is nice and whatever and doesnt like trouble or confrontations).

Andy how many people do you see that steal and confess that they did steal something when asked?

oh yah, you should put a note in the next envelope and be like "LOOK HERE YOU LITTLE B!TCH I KNOW YOU'RE STEALING MY MONEY! GIVE IT BACK!!"

and also, maybe she could just hold her money or keep it at your house or something?

Yeah if $240 isn't a big amount then getting $1000 for a bank account must not be tough...

For a solution though, never keep money in a drawer when you live with someone else, and open up an internet bank account or something if no one else will give you an account.

I like that suggestion first of all.

🙁 That sucks.

Many banks will open a non-interest bearing checking account with no minimum, complete with Visa debit/cash card for free or next to nothing, except for check printing. Wells-Fargo, for example, gives me free checking with no minimum. They're not my favorite, but they're not too bad (they did absorb my former MN-based bank known for excellent service and rename their beautiful downtown skyscraper). Just make sure the little can't cun't steal any checks.
