That sucks. Don't let her get away with it! I would try it one more time.. stash some money in that spot.. and mark a couple of bills.. just a slash with a blue or red marker.. then when the money turns up missing, you can confront her cousin.. and say.. let me see all the money you have... lol

buy a sturdy storage chest and a GOOD lock with a key

I keep all of my money in my wallet and when it gets too fat I send it off to the bank.

I think your gf would have learned her lesson the first time.

This has happend to my girlfriend and I. We put 100.00 away into this envelope, and come to find out a few days later when we were going to deposit it, it was missing. Might've been her cousin. He had like 2 new PS2 games after that day.

why is everyone going after his gf and saying she needs to get a safe and whatever.......who needs to learn a lesson here is the little bitch stealing from her in her own house, talk about an ungrateful kid. she should not have to hide anything in her house or need a safe for a couple of bucks because this kid has no respect for herself or others(specially her own family). your gf needs to have a serious talk with her parents and also teach this girl a lesson herself.

Instead of putting money in the envelope next time, tell her to put in a small amout of explosive. The person with no fingers is your culprit 🙂

next time, put like $10 in singles in the envelope along with some non-toxic powder that glows in black light... i forget what it's called... that powder will stain clothing and hands... so you can prove certain things or disprove certain things...

Get out your trusty scanner and printer, make up a few $100 bills insert into envelope let her steal them.. she goes to store, bingo she is gone. Or have someone drop one on the sidewalk just in front of her and when she picks it up follow her to the nearest store when she buys something as she walks away tell the cashere hey that 100 looked phoney to me.
Bleep

they should at least take the jacket away from her, it's pretty obvious she stole the money and bought the jacket with it.

<< Man you guys need to devise a plan of attack. Dont let her get jacked like that. Buy an x-10 camera..lol

nah but think of something creative to catch them in the act..like next time your gf gets some bux, tell her to be like "yeah baby finally got more moolah" around all the peeps in the house. Then set up a camera or something...

Oooh oooh! better idea...tell ur gf to use a larger envelope, like one of those 5x8'' yellow ones with the metal clip. Dont clip it shut, just stick a mouse trap in there on the money, so when the person reaches in, you'll definately know about it 🙂

And if youre not home at the time, just look for the person with the bandaged up hand 🙂

very easy...

things to do to teach everyone a lesson.

for your gf, do like others said, put it in bank.

for the thief, put a couple of caps in that little thief. people are usually allergic to bullets. 😀

for the parents, have your gf steals/misplace a couple of their valuables. when parents ask about the items. say "they were careless about their items so..." (for added effect, plant some fake pawnshop tickets in her cousin's new jacket)

YMMV

The parents are poor excuses for mentors and role models due to their failure to do anything about this little thief. The thief doesn't work and now suddenly she has a new jacket? I'd rip it right off her back and attempt to return it somehow.

Obviously, the cousin KNOWS where your GF hides her cash. That was dumb mistake #1 on her part; letting her cousin know the spot.

Dumb mistake #2 was putting money there a SECOND time. I feel badly for your GF. Your GF needs to let her cousin know, in no uncertain terms that if anything else turns up missing, she will pay with her skin. Period. Find a bank or credit union of some kind. Good luck.

manuelku,

Opening a Bank account do not require $1000. <---Get your butt in BoA and ask dammit!

Track that Thief down and beat him/her with a freakin bat.

Dang, I feel sorry for your gf and for you other ppl w/ similar problems. I've been lucky enough to never have to lose trust in a relative. Good luck w/ some kind of solution. (BTW: how old is her cousin, if she's young I'd be more inclined to mark her as a suspect)
