Man in MAGA hat assaulted.

I don't get it. Being that the slogan was in Russian, isn't that a jab at Trump and his Russian connections? It would be really ironic if the hat wearer was as anti-Trump as the guy who beat him up.

Then again, it would be a sad state of affairs if Trump supporters are now celebrating Trump's illegal and anti-American Russian connections.

story doesn't say the political leanings of either the attacker or the victim but I tend to agree with you. and I may get one of those hat for prosperity, would never wear it.

None of the articles I read really explained the situation. It's kinda why i even bothered posting it. I tend to think it was a trump supporter upset about the guys Russian lettering.

It is a sad state of affairs in our country.

I always enjoy this logic. Somebody gets their MAGA hat knocked off or disagrees with a "conservative" on the internet, and it's all "liberals are trying to silence free speech."
"Conservatives" declare liberalism to be a mental illness, try to ban an entire religion, and forcibly kick people out of rallies, sporting events, and concerts for speech they disagree with, and suddenly they remember that the 1a only applies when it's government silencing the free speech.

Yes, this is how I see it as well. It could be a dumb anti-Trumper attacking another anti-Trumper, or a Trumper insulted by the reasonable implication that Trump is a retarded agent for Russia (basically what the Mueller report confirmed--no evidence of collusion, but clearly benefiting from and doing a lot of work on behalf of Russia....which is the definition of a retarded agent)
