Ew, I hate posting in political threads that start within the anarchy of OT. :disgust:

Whether this information is true or not, Kerry is getting his ass handed to him, now that people are FINALLY digging into his past.

The media made Dean come off as a nut even though he isn't and Kerry is going to come off as much much worse when the they're done with him. Regardless of my views, I'll never forgive Kerry if he doesn't step down. His class act killed off our better candidates and now that we're seeing his true side, all his can say is 'oops!'. With that said, I still believe that he makes a better candidate than bush. As long as he doesn't make some plan to kill all women and children and bonk women in his free time, the world will be better off

It's that brash cowboy confidence that makes me love him!

Bush has a long record of saying things with confidence that never happen.

Clark was a Clinton appointed candidate to destroy Howard Dean and John Kerry. He was never a serious candidate. Of course Clark has to "officially endorse" Kerry to avoid suspicion of the general public. There is a real power struggle in the democratic party. Dean has already been wiped out and Kerry is next. It's interesting because these two are the furthest to the left. Kerry is unelectable in the south. It will be very difficult to convince a southern centrist or moderate democrat to vote for a northeastern hardcore liberal in the presidential election. Maybe the powers within the democrats want Edwards to win the nom. Besides the fact that he is undeniably far leftist, Kerry has too many skeletons in the closet to be able to compete with Bush. Or maybe (this is what I believe) the Clintons are trying to discredit any candidate so that Hillary can run in 2008 as a moderate Democrat or even a centrist.

Doesn't anyone remember 'Dubs subpeona from rape charges filed in the state of Texas a couple years ago? Margie Schoedinger. About on the same level as this "news" story, I'd say. Drudge can go back to digging...

Lets be honest here...

Does it really matter to you whether or not Kerry banged an intern? Your going to vote for whoever you see fit to vote for when election time comes rolling around. I could care less who Kerrys been sleeping with. I didnt care about Bush doing coke or being AWOL, nor did I vote for him because I'm a democrat. Had I been Repub, yeah I wouldve...maybe.

It may not matter to some here, but the larger concern that it will likely matter, if of course there is legs to this story, to the mainstream average American voter - who doesn't debate political items in forums, but instead relies on media coverage and initial personal feelings.

You have to question why a "friend" would say something like this if the former intern herself hasn't said anything about any alleged incident. Her parent's testimony seems to actually strongly contradict the likelyhood that Kerry was having an affair with the intern. Since she chose to to not join his re-election committee, the evidence would actually be against them being involved with a sexual relationship. (If you bring up the possibility that it wasn't entirely consensual, all Miss Polier had to do was cry "rape!" to the press and Kerry would have been in deep trouble, so its highly improbable that such a scenario occured.)

KERRY MYSTERY WOMAN DATED CAMPAIGN FINANCE CHIEF

**Exclusive**

A woman at the center of John Kerry intrigue dated longtime Kerry Finance Director Peter Maroney, sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

When pressed by media outlets in recent week, the Kerry campaign confirmed the relationship, according to top sources.

Alex Polier on Monday denied "Internet and tabloid rumors relating to me and Senator John Kerry."

Rumors swirling around Polier ignited a behind-the-scenes campaign drama.

As first reported in this space, a serious investigation of the woman and the nature of her relationship with Sen. John Kerry has been underway at TIME magazine, ABC NEWS, the WASHINGTON POST, THE HILL and the ASSOCIATED PRESS, where the woman in question once worked.

TIME magazine's Tim Burger and ABC NEWS have developed intriguing elements to the case, sources reveal.

She would joke that she was dating the next president of the United States, says a source.

Polier's flippant remarks and flirtatious manner, according to friends, fueled the intrigue.

In an off-the-record conversation with a dozen reporters earlier this week, General Wesley Clark plainly stated: "Kerry will implode over an intern issue." [Three reporters in attendance confirm Clark made the startling comments. "This guy is going to blow up. Have you seen the NATIONAL ENQUIRER story" [on Kerry's womanizing].

The Kerry commotion is the key reason why Dean reversed his decision to drop out of the race after Wisconsin, campaign sources said.

This story has some legs.

The only legs this "story" has is on this and a few other crackpot quasi-intellectual Internet boards, as far as I can tell.

To be completely OT, Bush cannot form proper sentences, or speak English intelligbly. He creates words that don't exist and mispronounces proper words all the time. If we are not going to elect a president based on their sexual life, at least let us consider 8th grade grammar skills as a qualification.
