I completely agree. Unless there was a health concern, there is absolutely no good reason for circumcision.
 
I can't believe they didn't even bother to tell him why they did it! Makes you wonder what did happen in the OR..............

Funny thing is lawsuits drop if the hospital/doctor actual talk to the person and tell them everything.

One hospital did a test where instead of closing ranks they opened up and said what happened and went over everything. They found many sue as they just want to know what happened.
 
I'm sure surgeons do all sorts of unusual surgeries, but one would still think that the surgeon should have said to themselves, "Hmm, wait this dude wants his junk cut off? Let me re-check that chart."

Unless he's 70+ with significant rheumatoid arthritis and extremely high blood pressure, in which case a jury might give him about $500. 😛

That said, it's most likely a younger person getting a circumcision. 🙁
 
And to think, he could have avoided all of this, if he just washed his junk while showering.

It's not that bad,.. pull back the skin hood, soap up the bastard and then douse him with water. I never understood why people think genital mutilation is an option to keep "clean" when we no longer live out in the wild.

I'm probably going to start an entirely new set of drama with this, but the wife and I just had a baby boy and we elected not to circumcise him. I am circumcised as well as all other males (as far as I know of) on both sides of our family. We could not justify any rational or objective necessity to it and as we live in a society with clean water and soap, the pragmatic advantages of circumcision seem to be dated. Finally, if he wants to get cut later on then it can be his choice. However, maybe I'll save this story and share it with him when he is older and that may influence any such choice.
