Uhm it wasn't their house and the guy that was actually in it did no wrong and wasn't the guy they were after?

Right to protect oneself and ones private property from unlawful tyranny?

At least they were looking for a shooting suspect and not a bag of weed.

While it doesn't say this in the article, I'm sure they had a warrant. Signed by a judge. Which makes it lawful, no matter how loud you want to shout "Don't tread on me!"

Why am I sure? Because if they didn't, that would have been part of the headline.
 
What happened here? They threw in a flashbang and it caused a fire. I get that, I am pretty sure it happens all the time. What I am curious about is how he didn't have enough time to run out of the house? Or why the cops didn't run in to rescue him? It's not like the house exploded instantly. It just caught on fire.
