On a side note, has this rule ever been challenged in court? It violates just about every concept of fairness ever imagined. What happened to the bet placed? Sure it isn't his jackpot, but do they credit him back the wager? It was obviously his money at stake?

I can see that the casino has that rule because you can verify it via video surveillance, but I don't see how it holds up in court.
