That's the kid's fault for making the decision to steal the car. It's the man's fault for shooting and killing the kid. The both of them are 100% guilty for their crimes and should be punished for them accordingly.

I can't possibly see why this man shouldn't go to jail for murder, considering our law. The kid was out of line. The man was out of line. Punish them both to the extent of the law.
