"WTF"

Actually its not as far fetched as it may seem. My house has a basement and I thought it was part of the house. But my neighbor told me a story of how the old owner got drunk and wanted a basement so he got the equipment and just dug one out.
I have since found a lot of beer cans in the crawl space from the 70's so the time period matchs. :)

Should I feel a bit guilty for wishing the article ended in him running it into a telephone pole on his first ride in it? :-X

Holy fuck, I want a basement like that.

Edit: To all you saying the exhaust note sucks.. The fuck it does. That thing sounds badass.

However, it sounds nothing like a real Ferrari engine, so I can understand the complaint.

It is beautiful, but the whole time you're doing it, you've got to be haunted by the thought of how you're going to get it out. And, what of any welding fumes?
The guy got the inteligent, skill to take on such a task would have though out the minor details of remove the car from the basement and fumes exhause system for the basement/workshop.

Hat off to the guy for his accomplishment.

Anyone else notice that his basement appears to be CARPETED?

How the hell did his wife not kill him a decade ago?
