MalariaControl Stats thread.

[Fardringle]

It will only run rarely (maybe a few hours a week) but I added my Sempron 3000+ laptop exclusively to Malaria and I'll manually download one or two work units at a time to crunch while the machine is on.

I also added a P3-933 system to Malaria and I'll probably let it run as long as the project goes. This computer is going to be put into service as a dedicated fax server soon so it will be on 24/7 but it really is too slow to do most of the other projects so Malaria will work nicely for it I think.

You do probabyly know that in some languages (among them Swedish) the word "boink" or "bonk" is a quite frequently used slang word to denote fast sexual activity. Yes, the boink/bonk reference was intentional.

I've tried to add a new, fake "quote" to my sig for each DC project I actually run for more than just a few days of testing. I figured putting BOINC and Rosetta in the same line would cover my primary project right now, as well as that I've attached to a lot of other projects in the BOINC client.

I have my wife's computer split 50/50 with Malaria and RALPH right now, my old P3-933 100% on Malaria, and my laptop running Malaria whenever it is on (not very often). My main home PC will get some time on the project as soon as it finishes cleaning up the work I have queued for various other projects that I need/want points in to get me to my goal of 20 projects. As soon as it is done - looks to be probably Friday - most of the processing time on that machine will go towards Malaria as well. I fell pretty far behind there for a while so I don't know if I'll manage to get into the top 50, but I should be able to stay well within the top 100 now.

Edit: I'm not sure what RAC I'll settle in at once I get everything stabilized, but hopefully it will be enough of a push to get us past The Final Front Ear and past BOINC.BE a little faster. Very cool RAC on the AMD Users team!
