received the clock today...man that was fast...why can't my ram from z-buy get here that quickly

anyway...the clock is an absolute POS...i wouldn't play $2 for it at a garage sale...i think i may post it on Flea-Bay just for the hell of it

this rebate better come thru
 
I got my crappy clock today as well. But in my cyberrebate account, it still says the rebate status is "pending." Did anyone else get a rebate to print out yet?
 
I'm "pending" too, but when I checked the online invoice, the rebate amount had been changed from 51.99 to 11.99.

I gave them a call today, and they said the 51.99was a mistake -- they will not honor it. I can return the clock to avoid the rebate hassle and multi-month wait, but despite their mistake, they will NOT pay return shipping.
 
Just called the cr and asked to return the clock casue of the change in the rebate, she will send me an rma email, man this sux.
 
Well like my Mamma said, if it looks to good to be true, it probably is. I ordered the clock for $1.99, and the rebate is now $11.99, so I guess I still make $10 and get a cheap crappy clock....oh well....🙂
 
I received the clock too. I wouldn't pick it up even if I see it in a 'Dollar Store'. POS clock that ever existed! Learnt my lesson to never buy anything ever from cyberrebate.com again. You do get what you paid for. In this case it's not even worth that ($2)!
 
Hey, don't ruin it for me. I took off from work today just so I could sit at home and wait for my clock that UPS is bringing today. I am soooo excited.....😉
 
Isn't Cyberrebate at ebates? If so, can't you make money in the end on any purchase that would have been "free after rebate"
 
Yo_Ma-Ma ~ same here... the rebate info is still "pending." Grrr... I received the clock today, and it's a 10-cent piece of junk. 😵 If this doesn't go through, I'm done with cyberrebate... has anyone gotten their rebate yet?
 
My rebate says "pending" still also. Hmm . . . They sent me an email confirm specifically stating my cost, after rebate, to be ($50); charged my credit card, shipped the merchandise and then changed the deal. I saved copies of everything just in case. Probably not a chance in hell of getting them to honor any of it. Oh well, I still might make the $10 bucks if they don't go under first.
 
hi guys...i'm quite new as a poster...but here's my answer to the fact that all of our rebate statuses are "pending." check the e-mail cyberrebate sent you, it says that they will post the rebate information 5 days after the date of purchase. in my case i bought it on the 5th, so they still have 2 days to post it up, even though i've already received the POS clock. i'm just gonna wait until the 10th, and see what happens then. hope this thing works out for all you guys too

I checked my account with cyberrebate and they charged me only $11.99 for the clock. The problem is that it also says the rebate will be only $11.99. I did recive an e-mail with my cost after the rebate being (40.00). So basically they did not respect their advertisement.
 
I've done lots of business with CyberRebates. It takes them 4-6 weeks after you send the rebate to change it from &quot;Pending&quot; to &quot;Received&quot; and another 6 weeks to get the rebate. About 3 months is what it takes, and if you were clever and went through ebates, you made another 5%, which is about 20% annual interest, far better than if you left it in the bank, and the bank doesn't give you any merchandise.

How do you get/fill the rebate info if it still says 'Pending'? Am i assuming wrongly here, that the only way to get/fill the rebate info is thru a link where it shows 'Pending' right now?

cyberizer, the rebates become available within a couple days. You snip, write, lick, and stamp, and then the site says pending for them receiving your mailed letter with rebate info. Once they update their computers it then says they got it and a date is set for you to receive your rebates. It WILL take 6 weeks from the day you mailed the letter for them to change your status saying they got it. Do NOT check every day, do NOT chck every couple days, it WILL drive you nuts. 😀
 
As with many places they may have covered their 😱@ss😱 and wrote in the rules that they cannot rebate you more than you paid. I'm not sure though.
