***** All prices and rebates are subject to change without notice. *****

I WOULD CALL THIS WORRYING. CANT SAY FOR TOO SURE, CUZ I HAVE NEVER ORDERED
FROM THEM, DONT WANT TO TAKE THE RISK.

i dont know, i've always been kinda skeptical of CyberRebate, and this kind of deal especially, especially with the disclaimer that the rebate can change at any time,
just my 2 cents

I've spent a few hundred over two orders at cyberrebate, and never had any problems. You do have to wait a while for the rebate checks to come though. this isn't that bad of a deal, since it's only $12 you have to do without for a few months.

Just did this deal. I had a one-time coupon # from CoolSavings for $10 there so if it works I will pay only $1.99 and get $51.99 back for a total profit of $50. Got an email confirmation that says:

Items:
#185031 White Porcelain Clock
1 x $11.99 = $11.99 ($40.00) AFTER REBATE

Subtotal: $11.99

Shipping: $0.00
Tax: $0.00
Coupon 🙁$ 10)
Total: $1.99

Your order total is $1.99 pre-rebate. After rebate, your order is ($50.00)

Great deal if it works!
Thanks for the post.

Thanks for the heads up regarding that coupon buybye!

For the ultimate in shadiness - I was 'forced' to sign up to CoolSavings to get access to a certain web site awhile back. Signed up using my hotmail account, and had to rummage through all the spam to even find the e-mail with the code. So, I get a $10 coupon off a shady deal, adding my webcertificate to boot, just in case. $2.16 total spent.

Edit: I forgot to add - the money on the webcertificate (well Ecount actually) was from @llAdvantage...

I feel so dirty now. 😉

hmmm I wouldn't do it, especially from CyberRebate, Why? 4 reason

1) look at those ridicules, they busts up the price and have it for free after rebate.
2) here's the catch, they're trying to make you forgot all about the rebate by busting rebate up to 10 weeks of waiting.
3) more catch, after 10 weeks and you call they'll give you a hard time so that you give up the rebate (especially if its $50 or above).
4) just be caution when dealing with too good to be truth deal, if you do copy every single detail and store it in steel cabinet and lock it up heheh j/k. Well just to make sure you should copy and keep it somewhere, rebate will not just automatically send it out after the week that's intended. You have to call them, simple as that no call, no cash.

I don't think the people behind CyberRebates are that stupid.

How many people who saw this thread hit their site? Of those, how many browsed around and picked up more than one item?

They don't advertise much, if at all, so the word of mouth they get on places like this for letting out a few hundred clocks in this manner is a cheap way to get their name all over bulletin boards with lots of online buyers.

One day, someone will do some detective work and find out the real story about their financials, rather than all of the conjecture we endure everytime a cyberrebate thread appears.

The way I look at it, I will risk $1.99 for a cheap clock with the hope of getting $50 back anyday. They seem to have a pretty good track record of fulfilling rebates. I also took a chance with a site called Pointclick, and they sent me a check for over a grand (even though they later died a horrible death)!! Can you say free laptop? I do have to question the long term viability of Cyberrebate though, especially with something like this. Just as long as they go under after my rebate I don't really care....🙂

Don't forget that if they go bankrupt, you're out of luck, and there are rumors that they are going to shut down.

What do you mean rumors??? If you specified a source and a link then we can believe your story is from a credible source.

Frag, you beat me to it. Where did you hear the rumors???? I've been a lurker for a long time, but I registered just to respond to this.

Well if you look at f******company.com, you will see that they have no official f****, but they do have five rumors that are evidently going to be posted soon. We will see......I am not to worried about $1.99. That is probably a fair price for the clock....🙂

I'm paying it with my American Blue Card ... so even if they go bankrupt, I will still get my refund from AMEX I think 😉
