News Major tech outage gripping the world

"Microsoft said the “preliminary root cause” appeared to be “a configuration change in a portion of our Azure backend workloads” that “caused interruption between storage and compute resources which resulted in connectivity failures that affected downstream Microsoft 365 services dependent on these connections.”

A sequence of events that must have started in the bowels of hell finally concluded this morning, and crowdstrike took down large swathes of the Internet. I had an early morning. Others have had an earlier morning. Many will have very, very late nights.

Yeah, this has hit my company. Web email services are hit or miss. Some systems blue screened. Fun day for me.
