Main page is blank for me.

Seems I can only get to a forum if something in them appears as a 'trending thread' or an alert. So I guess I can only post about things other people are currently posting about. Might have to resort to talking about tech stuff, dammit.

This is the third day of https://forums.anandtech.com/ being blank for me and having to load from an existing thread page. Affects every browser on my PC and my phone whether it's connected to mobile data or wifi.

Thanks to this post appearing on my alerts I was able to get to this sub-forum again! So can post to say this problem still exists!

Ctrl+Shift+R convinced Firefox to load the home page properly, but no luck with Chromium despite seeking how to do a full reload of a page.

One thing I don't understand though is that say Chromium on my PC or Firefox on my phone had not been used to visit the site before and yet still received a blank page. Nor does the official advice for hard-reloading a page in Firefox for Android make any difference.

- edit - out of curiosity I tried Ctrl+Shift+R on a spare FF profile that hasn't viewed the AT forum site before, before and after the hard reload it still gave a blank page. I have no idea what's going on here.

Coming back to the site later in the day, forums.anandtech.com is serving a blank page again, yet Ctrl+Shift+R reloads it properly.

Meh. It's on and off, though oddly I never get it when loading specific threads, only the home page of the forums. i just tried clearing out my browser cache too.

I thought this was all fixed, but I experienced it again this morning using both Chrome and IE and none of the remedies worked. For the moment it seems to have cleared up. Fingers crossed.

Problem is also back for me in a firefox today. Going directly to a specific forum works fine though. The main link has been working fine since fixing it the first time after the big forum upgrade. Ctrl+shift+R seems to have fixed it though.

I have the blank forum home page again this morning, although specific forum pages load with no problem. Nothing fixes it.
