Not an error page, a blank page.

Same in Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and probably Internet Explorer but who the heck cares amiright?

With the update, you'll need to clear your cache and cookies in order to reload the front page of the main forums. If that doesn't work, let me know!
 
No change with cache and cookie removal.

Same as before. Specific links work, Home and Forums link do not work.
 
We've recognized this is a caching error on the back end, and we have some dev folks working on the issue.
 
Been noticing some 500 errors around the same timeframe as the blank pages ... likely just a different symptom of the same problem...
 
This is an issue that appears to be occurring periodically for some users. We believe it has to do with caching. Our DevOps team is investigating and hoping to resolve the problem.
 
Yeah I have to clear the browser cache every visit.....in other words its a "single use only" solution that needs to be done every time.
Just to be clear it is https://forums.anandtech.com/ that keeps coming up blank and needs browser cache cleared each visit.
If i use a link directly to any of the sub forums, that works fine.
 
Day before yesterday I had the same problem. Yesterday it was fixed but now it's back again. I have to use a proxy again to get the site to work. Cache and cookies should be clear since I run my browsers in a sandbox and delete it daily.
 
I'll add that along with not being able to access the main page as well, I also cannot access the forum via the Tapatalk app. When doing so, even if I try going directly to a particular sub-forum, I get a blank screen.

Note: Apparently, the last time I tried using Tapatalk today was right before it was turned back on... It is now working for me, however, I still get the blank page via a web browser.

Is the blank page issue still persisting for some of you? This has been a rather tricksy one to narrow down.

EDIT: Clearing browser caches now works. (edge,Chrome,Firefox and explorer all work after clearing cache)

I'll post here if it stops working again.

For what its worth......I'm having no issues at all now....I dont even have to clear browser caches anymore.....so it seems fixed here.
 
Well, so much for that!
Its going blank for me again!
i give up....I'll be over on the hard forums .
Such a shame, anandtech forums used to be my very first stop daily. 🙁
