Close up of the Black Lotus.

I've got WAY more too, man I'm shaking. Almost dropped my camera lol. :p

I paid $40 for the lotus and $3 for the moxes. I should sell this stuff on ebay or something.

Oh and this stuff is all BUCK-ASS mint, except for the Icy.

I completely forgot about MTG until I read this thread, thanks OP. :D

Holy ******! You're rich now!

I think I need some advice here. Should I have this stuff graded before I sell it? Will that make a difference on how much I get?

I would take it to a reputable dealer. Pick up a Scrye if you can. It should have all the market prices in it for MTG all the way back to Alpha. Sell them at listed price, with Scrye to back it up. Good luck!

Take a pic of the money you get in return, in stacks of 100 dollars.

I used to play (started durring Ice Age and quit sometime around 5th or so). I've been debating selling my cards for a while now and was wondering if they still made those price guides that told what were rares/uncommon/common. I can't even remember what the name of the guide was, but I know it was the size of a mazagine. Any one know?

Good for you man, you got a small fortune there.. that Juzam you have is awesome and Beta Icy is one of the coolest looking cards ever made.. I say don't get them graded just put them up on ebay individually.. any more beta cards?

Edit: WOW I didn't see the recall down there in the corner, you ALMOST have all of Power 9.

You should get them PSA rated... anything sold on E-bay (lotus, moxes, etc.) makes a lot more money if they are PSA rated. I'm not sure how to get them PSA rated but I know you will make tons more money.

Oh yea I got tons man

Jade Statues, Lightning Bolts, Ice Storms, Sink Holes, Demonic Tutor's, Berserk, Phionic Blasts dual lands, etc. And I have a time walk somewhere but I can't find it right now.

I'm so afraid I'm gonna get screwed selling this stuff on ebay.

Thats when I decided I was playing too much and PAYING too much. It used to be a fun game, until WotC found out they were making money. Then they got greedy. Which is usually the time I give up hobbies.
Had the same problem with D&D.

I enjoyed the Microprose game of Magic for Win98. Lots of fun and I can have all the Black Loti I want.

Congrats, mojo.

I used to play this game up until stronghold. Then I lost interest. You could barely compete unless you spent alot of money.

Thanks! :)

I quit right about the time 4th Edition came out. I've never even heard of half the expansions mentioned in this thread. I figured the game was dying. I guess I figured wrong. ;)

I used to play for a while, then I went to this release tourney up in Mass... played all night long, got one of the new rares for that set signed by the artist... then realized I was bored with Magic and sold all my cards.

Play it like once a year during Christmas breaks with friends. I started playing when I was 12, quit when I was 15. That was back in 1998-2000. Fun game, I really liked the stories. Started 4th edition ended with Tempest. I hated the direction was going and it encouraged people to just play new stuff and buy buy buy! I think the most expensive card I have is an Ice Age Icy Manipulator. :) Magic FTW!

I stopped playing a long time ago. I think when 5th edition came out and rules started changing. But unlike all my other friends, I've kept all my cards. The artwork on the older cards is awesome and I have no plans to get rid of my collection. I wish I would have picked up some of the moxes or other big cards, though. My most valuable cards are probably Library of Alexandria and Mirror Universe. And neither are all that much....

I definitely spent a whole lot of time and money on that hobby way back then.

Played about 8-9 yrs ago. Stopped playing right after the expansion after Ice Age came out. The flood of new cards killed it. I use to play Highlander as well.

 that was my initial thought, too:)
I have an image in my head of Paul MaCartney singing that.

(the melody is from Carry That Weight)

Library of Alexandria is worth about 200-300 dollars and Mirror Universe is about 50-100 dollars... FYI
