sure, he wasn't completely "good", but he did amazing things.
 
dunno why you would get mad because she says she wants to be like gandhi or mlk...it could understand it if she was saying I am like gandhi, or I am better then gandhi...but saying she wants to be with him is a good thing
 
Then maybe she should ditch her millions of dollars for rags and give it to the people in the world that really need it, and actually mingle with the people, not just a 10min photoshoot with someone homeless
 
It amazes me how former stars think they can all of a sudden become a moral compass for the public after a life of debauchery. She pushed the boundary of sexual imagery and intrique to the music public and paved the way for Britney and Christina. She left behind a legacy that will not be forgotten in the music industry.

What good is it now to do a complete 180? Yeah, great! We know you (Madonna) have children now and realized the very thing you symbolize is not the best message for them. Just stay out of the public and spend time with them. There is no way I'm putting you up there with Gandhi, MLK, or Mandella. I will remember you for your music (which I do have a lot of) and videos. I sure as hell do not want to see an old cronie revealing to the public of her new insight.

What does "pushing the boundary of sexual imagery" have to do with anything? Being a sex symbol means you can't help people?
 
It's hard for sex symbols and former sex symbols to gain respect after the fact.
I'll tell you this, she is doing more than I am to help others.
Whether it's because I don't have the money, or because I just don't care, I'm not sure.
