Restricted from their current status, genius. Why don't you try to explain that one instead? Oh yeah, because you can't.

In my state you can vote from something like 7am-8pm on election day. I have no problem with applying that standard nationwide. Problem solved.

This is rich, coming from you. You're an utterly irrational bigot who is incapable of constructing even the most rudimentary coherent argument, yet you should still have the right to vote because you are a citizen of this country.

You should be among the last people arguing for intelligence or education as a basis for the right to vote as you would be one of the first to lose it.

Exposing your blatant hypocrisy and hatred of morals and desire to enslave men is not irrational bigotry.

How is that a 'problem solved'? Is there a particular reason why the voting window should be so short? Why would you eliminate all early voting? What benefit for society does it provide?

I was more thinking of your inability to craft a coherent argument, to stay on topic, or to re-evaluate your positions in the light of new evidence. I also find it odd that you are most likely inventing a fake girlfriend in order to win arguments on the internet.

Regardless, there are irrational people who are smart and irrational people who are stupid. Nothing you've ever written has shown me evidence of anything other than a fairly dim individual with childlike emotional problems. If we're choosing to restrict voting based on your standards, those guys would be among the first to go.

constitutional there is only mention of a voting day. not week, month year. etc etc.

The burden of proof is on those in favor of early voting to prove someones rights are being violated by having voting on one day. So far I've seen no proof.

Except of course none of that is what is under discussion.

It is of course CONSTITUTIONAL to restrict voting times, but lots of laws that are stupid are also constitutional. I want to know why less voting time is better. How does society gain from this?

Hey thanks for answering! Could you now answer the rest of the questions too?

What reason does removing early voting serve? Do you think government can make voting more efficient by removing early voting? Since employers have to let their employees vote do you think it's in their best interest to have their employees miss work for several hours or a whole day because of long voting lines?

Also, if I may add; Laws are usually written/created in response to something, what are the reasons for removing early voting?
