how does Rivers not trust his WRs? How much has the group changed since last year?

I'm really surprised he couldn't muser more yards against the Patriots.

Rivers isn't all that great, and his WRs are all average at best. He has Gates and LT, and............... who.

Shut down LT and the Chargers will have a hell of a time winning until Rivers and/or his receivers step up. Rivers faded badly at the end of the year last year; this slow start is no surprise. If the Bears had anything resembling an offense, the Chargers would be 0-2 right now. I'm picking the Packers to beat them next week.
