I looked at your league page and love what you all have done. If only you weren't playing on the PC...

Thanks... most of the site is inactive right now (or just malfunctioning) while we transition to new teams... I impress myself sometimes.

PC is where its at. There are more and better home-brew leagues than any crap EA or MS could churn out. I actually tried working with EA on it in the past, and it was shot down.

PC version is pretty lame too. Graphics remind me of Madden 97 :p - Controls are confusing, can't set it up for a PS2 controller. Can't even change the controls at all it seems like, they just revert to default after you change them every time. As soon as you run a play they go back to default. Even if i could set it up like PS2 i still wouldn't get used to having numbers above player's heads instead of shapes, it's hard to remember which button corresponds to which numbered receiver. I'll be getting the PS2 version.

Yep, EA sucks cock. All my online games except for one have randomly disconnected, leading to losses and a DNF. The camera angles for Superstar mode are terrible- you can't see what's going on around you. The menus are slow as hell, and the frame rates are subpar. Horrible, horrible performance by EA once again.

The camera angles for Superstar are like that on purpose. You're not controlling the whole field, you're controlling that one character. It's supposed to simulate what that one character sees.

There's plenty of things to bash, but the camera angle on Superstar mode isn't one of them IMO.

Yes, but they took it overboard. You can't see who's coming at you especially on slants.

Ever seen an offensive player get blindsided? They didn't see it coming either. I mean, I can see where you wouldn't like it. As far as it goes, I think it's alright.

Of course, NFL 2K6 would've been infinitely superior... but oh well.

I can live with it. I just want the friggin' connection issues fixed, but for some reason I have a feeling EA won't get around to it :disgust:

Doubt it. Madden 06 is $39.99, and that's now that 07 is on the shelves.

Just one more reason why this monopoly is one big fat juicy sh!t-laden assfsck.

You need to shop somewhere else. Madden 06 is $12.90. Not suprising, Madden 05 (which many consider superior to 06) is more expensive, $14.90.

don't know if anyone mentioned this, I'm too tired to read. the AI in superstar mode is utterly pathetic.

Bonehead decisions by the qb, swiss cheese defense, zero clock management and to top it off stupid play calling too. 3rd and inches, and the coach calls hail mary.

I'm glad its a rental, I sent to back to gamefly the next morning.

I hope and pray 2ksports does come out with a generic title, I will edit every player if need be.

I notice receivers STILL don't try to stay in bounds when catching a ball, it's just sad that they have never thought to implement that. My receiver catches it in the endzone, has about 2 yards ahead of him, lands on his first foot when catching the ball, then takes the biggest step you've ever seen and whaddya know, the catch is incomplete, OB.

Another dumb thing they leave in from year to year is the computer at the end of games calling timeouts for no reason when the game is over anyways. It's boring enough to run out the clock as it is without being interrupted by 3 meaningless timeouts.

They say they listen to their fans, but they don't. They just have the same stupid problems every year. What do they care, they're making lots of money, they can half ass it if they want, no competition. I'm really not surprised to see so much anger toward EA. Infact, i'm really happy to see it.

But, it's all we've got. So i'm going to try and enjoy it as much as i can. It is still fun, despite all of the stupid things EA leaves in from year to year.

Why should they care how good their game is? People buy their games year after year, it doesnt seem to matter how bad the games are, people keep buying them
