Mad Cow case discovered in Canada

The disclosure of the suspect case early Thursday came just hours after the United States announced sweeping plans for the reopening of its border in March to nearly all Canadian exports of beef and live cattle.

*groans* Crap.

So there were these two cows, chatting over the fence between their fields.
The first cow said, "I tell you, this mad-cow-disease is really pretty
scary. They say it is spreading fast; I heard it hit some cows down on
the Johnson Farm."

The other cow replies, "Hell, I ain't worried, it don't affect us ducks."

hahahaha 🙂

Hopefully this makes everyone scared and they stop eating beef... making it MUCH cheaper and save me money.

There are two cows in a field in England.
One says to the other (in an English accent of course), "Are you worried about that mad cow disease?"
The other cow says, "Why should I? I'm a bloody helicopter!"

Does America get an apology for being criticized for not importing beef when they were right all along from the Canucks?

I think a Canadian would literally implode trying to give America an apology or pay it a compliment.

Suspected is the key, there was one in the US just a couple weeks ago that went all the way to their final tests before ruling it out.

Viper GTS

Sounds like this one will as all the pre screenings are positive.

But it won't affect the border opening, it was a 10 yr old dairy cow not destined for the food system.
If anything its an argument FOR re-opening as its proving the screening system is working.

On both sides of the border not nearly enough testing was done in the past for animals over two yrs.
Ours is an integrated system, once Canada is back on-line your meat will get cheaper

Stupid Farmers.. If the cow was a downer shoot, shovel and shut up!

All cows with mad cow disease look like "downers." That kind of thinking is what helps spread the disease. Also, if he's raising cattle, he's a rancher, not a farmer.

Ain't ignorance bliss? 😛

Yay for CHICKEN!!!!!!
well.... i've looked into this, and im pretty sure its "A-OK" as in legal, to feed cow parts that can carry BSE such as brain and spinal cords to chickens/turkey/pig. So really, eating meat in general is unsafe.

just eat free range cattle.
