zimu, why do you start a thread that you know nothing about yet bash the macintosh heavily when its obvious you are PC bias and trying to start a flame war??

its not that hard to understand that since the x86 vs 680x0 days that mHZ weren't the same cross platform. the g4 obviously optimizes instructions differently than anything wintel, etc.

put linux on both a mac and pc, then run identical benches on many machines...if people would/could do this it would give an easier understanding on a concept that is not hard to grasp in the first place.

You think macs suck just cuz you dont use one...i have a fricken dual p3 and there is stuff i miss from my old performa that ran at 33mhz, then 66mhz when i upgraded it. like built in scsi.

the fruity box or innovations are marketing schemes, if you judge it by that then you judge books by their cover, and well, have no point for argument.

<< where would you find the latest ware... um... i mean... freeware for the mac? >>

have you never heard of hotline? mac people had total monopoly of hotline until the writers made one for PC too. its still 75 percent mac/pr0n.

and if you say macOS X sucks, well then every *nix guru hates you with a vengence.

id take a titanium anyday of the week. or a new dual g4.

Ok, here's my opinion. I know many people who have macs and like them, but I can assure you, I am not one of them :). I've used iMacs before, and, from what I can tell, PCs are much better. They are not only more stable, but there are less compatibility issues also with a PC.
