you don't have to prescribe to a band's belief system to enjoy their music...........

He doesn't give a damn about their beliefs, its the lyrics. Lyrics are pretty prevalent in modern music, aye?

For these two bands, they are one in the same

Lol. And we come full circle to the reason for his posting of this thread: he wants bands with similar styles who don't espouse political beliefs, etc. in their music.

When I was a teenager years ago I thought RATM was pissed and speaking out about the liberals in power. When I found out the opposite I stopped listening to them.

reading comprehension much? my point was that pro-bush DOES NOT = pro-america. SOAD and RATM are no less pro-america than the Nuge (who hangs out in canada, i believe) or creed. they just disagree with the current administration and want better for the US. to steal words from your post, is that so hard to understand?

Oingo Boingo - Only a Lad - "Capitalism"

:music: There's nothing wrong with Capitalism
There's nothing wrong with free enterprise
Don't try to make me feel guilty
I'm so tired of hearing you cry

There's nothing wrong with making some profit
If you ask me I'll say it's just fine
There's nothing wrong with wanting to live nice
I'm so tired of hearing you whine
About the revolution
Bringin' down the rich
When was the last time you dug a ditch, baby!
:music:

Danny Elfman is no commie hippie 😀
