Its so sad, LSU could beat any other team in the country not in the SEC, but now no SEC teams get to prove it. SEC champion should just play in the national title game every year no matter what, BCS such crap.

EDIT: clearly all this proves is that the way to get into the title game is to play the most cupcake schedule possible, look at the teams who are going to make it into the NC game, they all played way easier schedules than LSU and will get the reward for being in their cupcake conferences.

Arkansas is doing what it is supposed to do and that is win the game. If AK threw the game for LSU to get into the BCS championship how would that be fair? And why would it be fair for an SEC team to be automatically in the BCS championship regardless of their record? The BCS is working beautifully this year in determining who plays the BCS championship game.

I agree for the most part, and i'd like to see WVU in a championship game, but there is some decent upset potential in the WVU vs. Conn game.

LSU has beat as many ranked teams as Kansas and WVU combined and yet those two teams are headed to the national championship game and LSU is locked out, how exactly is that fair again? There are probably 20 teams who have beat more ranked teams than Kansas and yet they are pretty much set for the NC game now, how is that the BCS working correctly again?

EDIT: at least we can take solace in the fact that nobody will actually WATCH the title game now since very few people will actually agree that they deserve to be there and the playoff system will be coming sooner. IF not for fairness than at least for TV ratings which will be terrible this year.
