back to mexico?

harsh man, have you ever been to Mexico? Have you ever worked with Mexicans that are business professionals? It drives me nuts that we have such a harsh stereotype of them, and it pisses me off even more that I used to have the same stereotypes. Then I spend 8 days in Guadalajara and felt like I was treated like a goddamn celebrity only to find out that is simply their culture to treat guests that way.

then again, I couldn't help but laugh when Wanda Sykes said that a Mexican with a leafblower can go anywhere they want :)

Once again, it's "climate change". It causes extreme heat AND extreme cold. "Global Warming" simply refers to the overall average warming in temperature for the whole planet.

For example, in December 2008 in Vancouver we hit a record low of -15C (-20C/-4F windchill). This July, we hit a record high of 38C (41C/105F with humidex). Normal temperatures are more like 2-3C in the winter and 25C in the summer. Seasons are definitely becoming more extreme here.

Also, it's worth noting that -20C in a wet climate like Vancouver feels infinitely colder than a dry -40C in Winnipeg, both of which I've experienced.

So what is the protocol for this...

I work, pay the mortgage, etc... my wife is a stay at home mom. I will readily admit her job is 10x harder than mine. We have a 1 car garage, and I tell her to park in it all the time so when she goes to take our daughter to preschool she won't have to be out in the rain, scrape ice, etc.

however, every now and then I think "WTF!? I pay for this fucking garage, why should I be the one to have to scrape my car when I go to work every day to pay for the garage I can't even keep my car in!?!?"

I think we need pics of your wife before we can determine the best course of action. ;)

ah yes, ATOT never fails to disappoint...

I will give you this pic of a part of her! It was a couple days after she stepped on our cat on the stairs and we had thought she broke her foot...

Based on that pic, let her clean the snow off her car while your child freezes in the snowbank. :p
