I just got home from seeing the 3:30 showing. Make sure you go to the bathroom before the movie starts.

It was the most visually stunning movie I have ever seen

....

A lot of my rating of the 3rd movie is based on the fact that there was completion, but again...there was confusion in the end if you ask me.

wtf are you talking about????
😕

the next hobbit movie of course, "Son of Sam"

I was disappointed in the scene where Gandalf rode out from Minas Tirith to save the horsemen from the Nazgul. From the trailer it looked like an awesome scene. I was pissed that all he did was shine his staff-flashlight on them and the Nazgul flew away.

the ending had to be done that way, as if it wasnt, then it wouldnt be true to the book.

and they did show grimli going to the undying lands.

battle scenes were awesome.

MIKE

Who is "grimli"?

why the hell did frodo leave at the end? that was confusing

no clue. i just got back from seeing it.

I think it was either because he was technically undead at the time, or maybe because the ring had forever tainted him, but basically, he could no longer be with the normal people.

To the Elvish equivalent of Heaven.

Frodo told me that the wound he got on Weathertop never healed, and he had to go away to the Elvish place to get his ass healed.

Awesome film, but I liked FOTR the best out of the three. ROTK had too many of those scenes where a main character was in trouble and just about to get killed and suddenly gets saved in the last minute

Hey, I was looking for educated speculation about how long it will be until it goes to bargain theaters.

That's all.
