i think they're just thrown in there for fun (except hurly's lottery connection). everything else like the gate number 23, the aisle 8, the august 15th, etc. etc., all just for fun.
although in the pic above, i'd like to show number 8 my "endgame" (if she's legal of course :D )

Just watched the finale...I agree that they could've/should've done some more...but what exactly, I don't know. Fvcking creepy as hell, regardless...next season is going to be AWESOME.

on another note ... I think I'm going to be rewatching a few of the episodes as ABC replays them over the summer ...

yes I know I know ... BT ... but there's something about LOST when you watch it on TV

replay value? all shows have replay value if you are easily amused;) too much good stuff to rewatch stuff you've already seen. hbo tv for istance

It's sad that even if you buy the DVDs, the quality is lower than the HD broadcast. We need Blu-Ray already, I'm sick and tired of the sh!tty format they call DVD.

from couple of previous threads, the dvd set could have been had for 26 or 23 dollars on memorial day.
