I'm sorry, but the finale blew monkey chunks. There is absolutely nothing divulged in this episode. Nothing is explained. That feeling that I have that something is going to happen in the last few minutes never got fed. I want some catharsis, dammit! I have a feeling that the writers dug themselves too deep a hole with all the weird things going on in the island, and they need time to come up with a good explanation.

And why was Locke so "Scared" looking when he saw the monster? The first time he saw it he looked so happy. This time after a few seconds his eyes got big and his face looked scared to death.

he probably thought he was safe because the island would take care of him, but when he saw the monster kept getting closer, he wasn't safe anymore or the monster didn't care about the people anymore

when he was a kid, he was reading a book about birds, then a dead bird drop in front of his house.

in a way, the reason the plane crashed was also cause by the boy. before the flight, he heard his dad talking to his grandmother about not wanting the boy. basically he felt unwanted...which is the same feeling when you crash on an island with no way out.

what's the monster? this time they made it sound more like a machine.

also, as mentioned before, what's that black cloud when the monster showed up?

why do they want the boy? maybe because he can think up a way to rescuse them?

why did the fat guy give the boy a thumbs up before the flight?

The episode was weird. I expected some revelation of what da heck is going on. I hate when they make seem we are going to find out the secrets only to wait 5 months.

With the numbers - I think the numbers are the SEATS ON THE PLANE. This are the most important characters in the show.

Question why do they need a boy? why doesn't the fat kid lose weight? Why doesn't kate, and the blond girl, and the japansese woman run in the island naked?LOL

When will the producers ever show us that?

4)She's been on the island for 17 years, and yes, she has weapons. She had a whole camp, with electricity & everything, but she blew it up.

5) That was the first time we've seen them. I think they're the others that the french woman spoke of, because they took Walt.

You should start downloading the torrents now. I'd say get the DVD set, but it's not due out until September 6.
