No problem. I can understand completely. I'm just trying to help.
between real work, dnet emails, and other dnet work its a lot,
sometimes my emails are more to t the point than they should be.

I really like TA and the work they do. I just don't want to see you
guys get in trouble.

If Dnet dislikes the idea of teams sending their team members information so much why is it even an option to display your e-mail? If memory serves me right it's even the default listing mode (and if it isn't the person has actively chosen to be reachable). No logic there...

That may simply be a limitation of the stats script. There has to be some way to differentiate membership and, without the member selecting a specific option, it has to default to something.

Considering Dnet's position in this matter I don't understand why the default isn't "Participant #".

Mostly I'm upset that I've wasted 3 hours collecting the addresses and removing the few that rejoined during the past two days. Ok, let's recruit 70 people to make up for the loss 🙁

Riv, I think a lot of it has to do with not confusing new members. When someone searches for their email addy when they first start cracking, it's a heck of a lot easier to understand a email addy, than an obscure participant #.:Q I'm sure Dnet would have switched it long ago if it was fessable.

I will try to be more discriminating and get you 100 cpus to help replace the loss. That might take 2-3 weeks though.

BTW, I have my eyes on the 25 computers at a downtown charitable organization. Two people there have asked someone I know about rc5.
