Hey what do you want to happen this week?
How about a polar bear.
On the island? Dude, this is the tropics.
So what? It's not like we have any responsibilities as writers. Our fans will just wait a few weeks for us to pull something out of our butts. They'll even label it "suspense"

well name me one show or movie that is free form some sort of distraction from the real world side. There is none. Anytime you watch a movie or a tv show you have to allow yourself to forget the fact that it is just a fabrication for the purpose of entertainment.

he's eating the dead while the others sleep FTW

yes lost is completely unrealistic. so what? I mean, you complain he isn't losing weight, when fact is, their plane snapped, and fell, along with them, many thousands of metres into the ocean. And they're fine.
Yes, it is a bit weak how they seemingly formulate an explanation for an apparent mistake weeks after, like having an expectant mother on a plane. And the fact that echo's plane somehow by fluke crashed on the same island. Also, note that the people in that plane died on impact (else why would they have waited to die in the inverted plane shell) and yet their plane didnt snap. And had seemingly minmal structural damage. And just looked to be upside down, maybe some wing chunks missing. Also, the random addition of the background characters. Oh, we can't afford to explode a main character, lets explode extra number 13, it's only fair.

Either way, in my opinion, it's good entertainment, just like 24. not as good as 24, but yeh. 24, in like 4 days, jack has been dead twice. yet lives on to make a 5th day. fine they're not consecutive, but still. Not many people die twice then carry on. And his speedy recovery from being dead in that earlier series. Mighty impressive, and yes, seemed very wrong, but I'd rather it was unrealistic than just then meant the rest of the 24hours was spent watching jack in a coma or some such.

I think Lost is unrealistic because it's entertaining that way for many people. I for one would have found it less entertaining(in the long run, short term would've been hilarious) if Lost comprised of the plane snapping, falling, crashing, and them all dieing on impact, as well they should have done.

Either way, I'm gonna keep watching it, and if they don't explain anything at the end of this series, then I'll start getting really p!ssed lol.

He has stolen a bunch of the food from the hatch and has been eating it, without sharing with anybody. I believe Sawyer will discover this secret, and use it to blackmail Hurley into helping him.

I HAVE FORSEEN IT!

Locke was in a wheelchair and can walk, why is it so hard to believe that the island can keep hurley fat?

It's a sci fi show, people.

Feel free to quit watching. The sooner you do, the sooner the show will end and I'll finally know what the hell is going on.

Because this show is not real... the producers specifically addressed this issue but I forgot what they said... stuff like hurleys size and cloths constantly being clean will never change.
they explained that coconuts are fattening.

Really, they did.

Except that coconuts are not fattening. Most of the fat in coconuts is Medium Chain Fatty acids. Your body breaks those down into energy almost immediately and they are very rarely stored as fat in the body.

Not to mention they give you the squirts big time.
