LOST episode 9

Wasn't overly impressed with that episode, although the look into Sayid's (sp?) past was an interesting one.

Question: who was that dude with the rash? I haven't seen him before.

There's supposed to be 47 people on the island. I think they're just trying to introduce more people. There's only about 15 main characters we've seen so far.

i actually really liked the episode. it looks like they actually started to realize they will be there for a while and that they need to find something that is actually fun. i also really liked sayid's background information and everything he went through.

i thought it was a great episode, one of my favorites. too bad we have to wait 2 weeks for the next one 🙁

I missed last week but saw it last night.

I think it was a little far-fetched that someone else was on the island. puh-lease. and even more crazy that she ended up going off on her own again after being alone for however many years and then finding someone! shya!

my prediction is she'll be back just in time to shoot someone (or something) in the nick of time before it attacks one of the main characters. she's far from done you know you'll see more of her. also, they refrained from really showing what happened to all the stuff Sayed grabbed (map of the island etc). Should he bring that back to the main group of people, they would at least know their way around the island better.

I record smallville and watch it after Lost 🙂 Smallville > Lost, but I like them both. So Jason's mother is/was a witch and she setup him to meet Lanna because Lanna is the heir to the witch that took over her body last episode. Interesting...

Whoa... this is a LOST thread, bud. 😉

Anyway, I liked the golf game. Hurley is an awesome character! 🙂

arrgh spoiler alert! I havent watched smallville yet (DVR owns)

ok LOST is taking an interesting turn. Sayed is my favorite character. I wish he would have learned more from the strange lady before he left her...and at the end...he starts to her voices..uh oh.

I can't stand not know what the heck is goin on with this island!!

So was that cord Sayid found running from the water to the crazy lady's bunker really just a long extension chord coming out of the ocean? I wanted more background as to how the dumb broad was able to produce electricity

They're lost in the bermuda triangle, duh 😀

That was just my assumption of what's coming in the next episode of Smallville; they just kind of lead into that in yesterday's episode.

I missed the first couple of episodes, so I was hoping they hadn't gone into Sayed's past. I like his character a lot too, not entirely sure why. He has to make it back to camp before they can make use of the maps and stuff, no telling what he's about to find at the end of the episode.

damnit you people need to stop talking about it till I'm done with the ep (haven't had time) ... who's the dork who started this thread ?

Isn't there some sort of way to create small amounts of electricity using saltwater and inserting electrodes into it?

Didn't she say she was a researcher or scientist? Just because she's looney from being isolated for 17(?) years doesn't mean she isn't smart.

Okay, fine... but does anyone else find a large chord coming out of the ocean to be a bit odd?

Maybe its plugged into a gigantic electric eel?

was dissappointed in this episode, but the next one looks worse, looks like its all about preggy and her baby and the rock stars "love" for her

best line of this episode was when Jack was saying, I havent slept in weeks because I have been so worried about making people feel safe....he builds a golf course and everyone feels safe!

🙂

Fat man is the best character by far

Hhahhahaah... nice one.

The golfing bit was kind of cool.... I definitely think it's smart to keep people's minds off the dire situation at hand as much as possible.

Can't wait to see the fat kid's past story.

So the French woman said there were "others" on the island & no monsters & that she killed her own son?

Medical/genetic experimentation?

I'm assuming it all has to do with the whispers Sayed is about to walk into. They're stringing us along the path that the broad is whacked out and crazy, but most likely everything she said is true, and she will no doubt save Sayed's life.
