The island won't allow you to kill yourself......sigh...ok this is getting kinda far fetched.

the gun wouldn't jam twice. or the car crash could have killed him

So, the island has powers in NYC?

Michael should have jumped off the top of a skyscraper to see if the island wouldn't let him die.

you never know the writers of lost.

Far fetched? It's a show with a giant fucking smoke monster that kills people and a mystical island that heals your busted legs.

But yeah, this episode was TOTALLY far fetched.

So true.

The whole entire show is far fetched. You have to let go of what is reasonable or not when watching a show like this.

Good episode. I think we now have a pretty good idea how Sayid ended up working for Ben. I'm thinking he eventually realizes he made a mistake in turning Michael in, then carries out Michaels mission. Or maybe he only turned Michael in to spare Michael from having to do this. I lean towards the first idea though.

i was shocked that this episode actually answered more questions (everything about michael and how he became on the boat) while not really leaving us with 43892498320 new questions.

good episode!

Any ideas of who killed Rousseau and her daughter's boyfriend?

I doubt Rousseau is dead... especially with the show turning out the way it is.

She's probably injured and passed out.

Good question. I'm guessing Ben's people at the Temple set-up an ambush for those two.

Thats my guess too. They could have easily shot her but didnt.

Guess I didn't think of that... yeah she might still be alive.

And yeah that chick is hot.

just rewound it... it pretty clearly said "all of the oceanic six survivors have been revealed," and it flashed over jack, sayid, sun, hurley, aaron, and kate.

Maybe I'm being stubborn but Aaron wasnt on the manifest, his mother was, but he wasnt so I guess I dont see him as an Oceanic Six. Unless they pull a switch and say that Desmond is one of the six. I dunno. Stupid Carlton Cuse. Tell us already damnit!

yup I think you are being stubborn. It's already been told. I don't know what other answers you're looking for.

I don't think you had to be on the manifesto to be considered to be one of the Oceanic Six. I think being on the plane is what matters.

Though, shouldn't the media know that Kate wasn't pregnant on the plane and should know that Aaron isn't her baby?

I'm starting to think that Ben has access to someone stuck in the time travel loop like Desmond - that's how he knows specifically what is going to happen, i.e. "your mother will protect you" (no mention of the boy being protected or Russo dying), as well as knowing where the bad guys were headed (up to the gas chambers), to tell Juliet, etc.

Has anyone noticed that Michael's Mother is the same woman Miles visited before he was on the freightor?

That would explain how he knew Michael's name wasn't Kevin Johnson when they met on the ship!

No, she isn't

If she is, then Walt must be dead. If that was his room and he appeared on the island to Locke when he got shot...
