You don't get it do you. The other healed Locke jsut like they made it possible for Sun to ge pregnant. There was an episode dedicated to how Sun got pregnant. And this alludes to the fact that hte others made Locke walk again.
 
I think Danielle Rousseau is an Other.

She "captures" Ben, and tells Sayid. How does a smart guy like Ben fall for the old booby net trap?

I think the intent was to get Ben into survivors camp.

And while Locke and company was approaching the Flame station, Danielle makes a convient excuse to disappear for a while. a person with a rifle would have been useful in that situation.

For a second I thought that he is the leader of The Others tongiht.

Eye patch guy had a wierd scene with him where eye patch guy got cut off
Ben said he was looking for locke when he got captured long ago and Ben is hte mast of half truths.

I guess those are hte big two reasons.

This was obvious to you? You got lucky if anything. I NEVER heard anything about htis and the pool at work with some Lost superfans had no one guessing that they were related. We have weekly polls based on the teaser for next weeks episode. NO ONE GUESSED THIS. IT WAS FAR FROM OBVIOUS. This would also mean that no Lost fan-sites thought this either.

Blondes are so overrated 😛 I missed the first 25 mins and my DVR schedule is all foo-bared from the DST change and I can't fix it until I get back home tomorrow 🙁 Good episode, though. I never said it was obvious. I just said that I thought everybody knew that Jack and Claire were half siblings.

There was a site early last year that me and some co-workers came upon where somebody mapped out all of the connections between all of the people on the island based upon the DVDs. There were tons of connections between Jack and Claire including Jack's dad and that's how we figured out they just had to be siblings. I don't have the jpg on my home computer but I could post it tomorrow after I get to work.

That's not what I meant. It was a very popular Lost spoilers site where a member posted the drawing that her and her boyfriend/fiance/husband did. The pic was all over the place.

Trust me. I would have never known if I hadn't seen it. We (at work) were beginning to wonder if we were going to die before it was brought out in the show.

I also don't claim to be an expert on this show in any manner. I'm confused constantly about this show. This was just one of those things that everybody on the spoiler sites had known about and I was able to remember after all this time.

LOL, last night after we found out Jack's dad said he was her father my gf turns to me and goes, "see, you predicted it!" I had no idea what she was talking about, but she swears at some point last season, I mentioned some sort of connection between them. I don't remember what it was at all though!

Yeah...nearly every spoiler sight I've seen has had speculation as to them being half-siblings.
 
regarding the jack/claire connection. during season 2 I think when jacks father was in austrailia getting drunk and was with ana lucia they drove to a persons house in australia and he could be heard wanting to see his daughter. (claires aunt)
