My comments and observations on the episode:

Jacks father said something to Jack in a flashback along the lines of "thats why the Red Sox will never win the World Series.

I wonder why when Ben told Jack that GWB won re-election......
Jack didn't cry.

When Sawyer told Kate she "tasted like strawberries" it was a line from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And a couple of days ago it was announced Nathan Fillion from Buffy (and Serenity) will be guest starring on Lost.

I thought Alex looked familiar. Turns out Alex is played by the actress who used to guest star on Malcom in the Middle. Anyone remember the obnoxious Krelborn Cynthia who went away and came back with a huge chest? Thats her.

It was difficult to make out Bens last name (or what he claims it is). The closed captioning said Ben Linus.

Ben(Henry, Fenry) may still be scary but that Juliette is freakin me out. She can be one cold b*tch.

"You never made soup for me" says Ben to Juliette. Which means either Ben and Juliette were getting horizontal (now thats not a pretty picture) or that Ben went thru the same initiation Jack is undergoing and got thru it and ended up the leader.

After last week, I actually kept track.

Every 7 minutes or so there were 2-3 minutes of commercials.

There were a total of 6 blocks of commercials during the show.

Atelast once there was only 6 minutes of show between commercials.

I am very PISSED about this and I might stop watching it on TV and instead I'll just DL via ???? means. To many commercial breaks just screws up the flow to much.

From what I can remember Rose just "felt" it wasn't there anymore.

Apparently we'll be finding out why Locke was in the wheel chair soon.

 
I think I just realized something. Benjamin's last name is Linus.

The only other Linus I knwo is Linus Torvalds.

Being kinda bored before I got to be, I went to my favorite web page ..... and my guess was almost right ....

Wow, what an awesome episode. After the 1st episode, I was ready to stop watching LOST......but this one has dragged me back in. Just hate the annoying commercials disrupting the flow, I might start DL'ing the episodes from now on.

At work, we've been long convinced that there is nothing mysterious about hte island and that everything has a logical answer.

Sun is pregnant by someone else. No shock to us. It wasn't who we expected though.

Well that opens up the possibility that the father is actually Jin, and that she got pregnant while on the island.

Damnit I was yelling two in the chest, 1 in the head. I would've done that and then pointed my gun at the opening so when that guy peered in he would've been HSed. Then the 5 guys on the boat would see in their screen that some fatty got headshotted and go berserk.
