Sooo..the ground was salted so nothing would grow. But it rains like hell there, wouldn't the salt be washed away? Or does that mean someone is out there salting the ground often?

No comments on the printout yet?
It appears to be a time stamp of some sort. All stamps are exactly 108 minutes apart. Go figure. But are those minutes? The delay between each stamp is 1:48. THat's 108 minutes OR seconds.
Here's the thing though. If the numbers are entered manually, you have 104 to 108 minutes to enter the numbers and the clock resets immediately! So, if the stamps are the time stamps for pressing the button in the swan, it doesn't really make sense as the printout shows EXACTLY 08 minute increments.
Which leads me to two ideas:
1) The printout is not what we think it is
2) I am looking to deeply into this.
Thoughts?
Oh, and if those are minutes .. the running time is about 4500 years.
lol, I did the math too, that's about what I got, I thought I made an error calculating that, and I think that the printout is nothing what it seems, maybe it's not real.

I asked thsi at work. People seemed to think the salt remains mixed with the soil. Co-workers also acted like salting to prevent vegetation growth is common knowledge. So, people seem to think this is true ... but I have no idea.

Yea, I have heard about salting the earth for as long as I can remember (not to imply you or those who haven't are somehow dumb or something).
iirc, the Romans made it famous (basically the epitome of a "scorched earth" campaign. I think it screws up the ground for many, many, years if done right. Not sure on the scientific reasons behind this though.

The section of the page that streams what appears to be several different mathematical permutations of The Numbers has every number followed by a comma... except the last number on the next to last line of that grouping, that ends in a period. The next line starts with a sequence of numbers that have no apparent relationship with The Numbers. However what they do have is a relation to the alphabet... 1=A, 2=B, etc.

People seem to be WAY too much into this..lol. I love the show and it is interesting though. It's like a game outside of the show. Never seen a show do that.
